Capezio Women's Ultra Soft Transition Tight

These are super soft and comfy. I always order a size up in tights so they stay opaque and these fit just perfect. I bought these to go with my Children's Author Costume and I was just looking for white tights. I did not know what "transition" meant and I missed that they had a cutout part on each foot. The first time I wore them I just turned the cutout around so it was on top of my foot and wore ankle socks over them with my boots. But when I wore these the other day for about half a day I left the cutouts on the bottom of my foot and did not wear socks and ended up with sore spots on the bottom of my feet. These tights feel so good on that it far outweighs anything else (for non-dancers). I plan to order whatever colors they have that match my other costumes including another pair of white ones. These are so soft that you don't want to take them off, and at the end of a long day standing that can mean the world.

My teen daughter has been weraing ballet tights for 11 years and said these were buttery soft like her Lulu leggings. She usually wears Body Wrappers but these were actually less expensive and softer. She has a small waist and thought they were a little tighter on the waist though. Otherwise, it's nice not to have to drive to our local dance store every time. Although I prefer to buy and support local, this is less expensive and fast with next day delivery.

I bought 4 colors because I couldn’t tell which shade would match me. I am not a dancer and had never been able to see swatches in store, so I am writing this, to help my fellow brown girls out. I have added photos and video in natural daylight. I wanted to try some skin tone tights that were better quality and closer to my skin color than what is available in normal stores around town. And I wanted some that were opaque to even out my skintone and keep me warm in my fall/winter outfits, when black tights didn't fit the vibe. So that’s what brought me here. I searched high and low for swatches and the photos I found, were not as helpful as I needed them to be. So I bought the following colors: Suntan- which has a pink undertone Toasted Almond- which is more golden Dark Suntan- is a touch darker than Toasted Almond but not as golden or warm toned, maybe more neutral Maple- which is darker than dark suntan So out of all these colors, I am somewhere between Toasted Almond and Dark Suntan. Still not a perfect match but pretty close. The fit and quality of the tights are very good and I can tell they will last longer than average. They are opaque and very stretchy. They have a subtle shine from a distance. The tights are the same color through the entire length.I noticed some tights have a soft waist band and some have a thick elastic waistband; I prefer the soft one. I do appreciate that Capezio recognizes that we all come in a wide range of skin tones and they have tried to match as many of us as possible. I also like that they offer tights what don’t have to cover your toes or that have the hole under foot to easily slip your feet out of. This useful if I’m out shopping and want to try on sandals! I was able to get these on sale so I think the price is fair. They are worth a shot to try. Tip: if you’re testing to see if it’s your color, put them on all the way. It looks different when they are fully on vs just on your foot or up to the knee. Also helps to do so in the day time with natural lighting.

As someone with blemishes on their legs, I looked online for opaque tights that would mostly hide any leg scars. While these tights do not completely (by themselves) hide dark scars, they do much better than any sheer tights you could find at JC Penny or Kohls (which I experimented with). In combination with another pair of opaque capezio tights, they hide dark scars completely I found, much to my delight. That is, I bought another pair of capezio tights and with layering they made my legs look great and blemish-free. As for the fit: I am very glad I read all the reviews before purchasing, as I normally am a medium (potentially a large) in tights/pantyhose. I am 5'5" and ~150 lbs (muscular thighs, but otherwise close to someone 130 lbs in build--I wear a size 10 in jeans) and the large/x-large size fit perfectly (with some stretching). I am no dancer, but these were/are great for business causal events. Oh and as a pale person who lives in a northern climate--northern part of the US midwest, anyway; I have plenty of freckles year-round and especially during the summer--the nude color perfectly complimented my winter skintone (i.e., fairly pale). Someone who is extremely pale (those with red hair tend to be even paler than I) potentially might want something even lighter--potentially the light pink or ballet pink.

First of all - if you are getting close to the next larger size, go up. Even if the chart looks like you should be in the smaller size. Just go up. These are soft and smooth and durable. We've tried different brands. One brand ripped the FIRST time my daughter tried to get into them. Sorry but ballet kids are not gentle, so if a brand can't hold up to being PUT ON then I will never try them again. We've been in these Capezios for at least 4-5 years now and they win every time. We get at least 6-8 months out of each pair, with about 10 hrs of dance a week. Very happy.

Got these for a gymnastics/choreography performance where I also used a lyra to do aerial moves on. Worked very well for all aspects of the performance. I got L/XL and am 5 feet 4 inches and 135lbs and they fit perfectly. Easy to move in, not too hot, I made use of the hole in the foot and wore them like leggings so my feet would have grip. The only reservation I have is the waist band. It was really tight and stiff and gave my stomach a squeeze and little lumps the whole time. Loved it besides that and would buy again!

Okay, so here's the deal. I am a graduate student who decided to take some ballet classes at my local undergrad. I need ballet to supplement/ cross train, so it seemed like a great idea. For full disclosure: I got them child bearing hips and thighs... And ass too, I guess. I am a pear. A beautiful pear that has a small waist and everything else underneath. Buying pants is always a riot, because they are either always too tight in the hips and legs, but have this enormous gap to fit my kangaroo child in or something. Or they squeeze the life out of my precious organs, and fit everywhere else. That being said, let's talk about these tights. I loved the gradient of color and smoothness of the transition between darkness to light and soft pink. Regardless of how ridiculous I looked walking through the halls of grad school wearing PINK tights, I loved the way they felt. They made everything feel and look smooth and I had a full range of motion, in case I needed to drop kick someone that day. The open part at the bottom of the tights was phenomenal (why don't all tights have this?). This allowed me to not have the tights slink down towards my ankles, or be bunched up in the crease of my thigh- I am not a tall chick, okay? Sue me. What I absolutely hated. MAN, WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THE WAISTBAND SO TERRIBLY? Everything else was going so smoothly, but that waistband made even my tiny waist look like I was a sausage trying to squeeze into it's pink casing. I felt fat, gross, and awful. And no, I am not fat, don't body shame me you ballet people. Please fix the waist-band. These tights really won't go anywhere if you make the waist-band fit comfortably. I swear, they won't be flying off of me in a jete. I promise. Durability: Tearing/ripping/run the second time I wore it. Either I'm too fat, or your product is ridiculous. I don't know. It may be Im too fat. Which is hilarious because I work out every day and dance.
