Great and they are dimmable.

I purchased these 20W units to replace 20 year old 150W halogen outdoor flood lights. Their color output is very close to daylight. The seller/manufacturer says they are not dimmable but they are! All of my lighting is controlled by a home automation system and I use Leviton UPB switches and dimmers. The Leviton CFL/LED dimmer works beautifully with this product. There is no loss of color rendition as they are dimmed. They are very bright and appear to be brighter than my old 150W halogen lamps. The unit appears to be completely sealed so I believe they will hold up very well in my extremely humid east coast environment.I do lighting design, lighting controls and automation for a living and I could not be happier with this product. I can only hope that it will last as long as it is rated. So, until I report otherwise, I have no hesitation in recommending this product. I intend to buy more.

Good light but do not last !!!

Definitely give great light when they all work. I installed 9 of these on my house and front yard and they do not last past a year. I tried contacting the company several times and have never received a response. Fortunately I purchased extra when I got them because trying to replace a few now and they are not available. Which now will have to replace all to something else.

I wear my sunglasses at night

Can’t beat the price for how bright this is! I installed this by my back door so I can let the dogs out at night.I had it installed with a cover plate in about five minutes. I like how it is adjustable not only by rotating it, but also by adjusting the knuckle. It comes with a retaining ring and an o ring for water resistance. It casts out pretty well about 50 Ft. After that the light fans out. I’m okay with that considering it’s a flood light.I had to chase the threads on the lights with the retaining ring a couple of times to get the burrs off the metal. Not a big deal, just something to watch out for.

20 watts is a lot of light!

The only thing I disliked was that it didn't thread all the way into the box cover. There is a rubber sealing ring and it didn't come close to squashing that. I even wiped a bit of lube on the threads. In retrospect I should have wiped some silicone sealant on the threads. But since these are mounted under a soffit I am reasonably confident that rain water infiltration won't be an issue.I probably could have gotten by with the 10 watt version, but these are mounted along an upstairs deck and so the extra light cast down onto the yard below is beneficial. But if you are only illuminating a smaller deck or porch (say, up to 15' x 15') I'd recommend the 10 watt version.

Multiple Failures

I have purchased 7 of these lights and so far 3 have failed within a year of install. The company was responsive in replacing the first 2 that broke, but I haven't bothered to try to get the last one replaced. The lights are bright when they work. They are used as outside flood/landscape lights and the seals tend to fail which causes the light to stop working. Since the install requires actual wiring, it isn't something you want to replace all the time. I will go with a more expensive model next time.

Exactly what I was looking for, fit my fixture without issues.

Exactly what I was looking for, fit my fixture without issues. I had a motion sensor light for maybe 10 years, and the halogen bulbs would burn out every year or two. And, they're not cheap, either! So for the cost of about two bulbs, I was able to get this LED assembly, and mount it in my existing fixture after removing the housing for the halogen bulb. It did take some wiring knowledge, but I'm good with electrical wiring, so there was no issue for me. Looks great, and shines a bright, white light. Couldn't be happier. And, hopefully, this will last a LONG time so I don't have to change it ever again.

Recommended for building and sign lighting - not landscape walls.

We use these LED Security Flood Lights for our HOA (Home Owners Association) as we replace the halogen and filament bulbs. The energy savings on these lights are so great it is worth replacing the complete fixture just for normal bulb replacement of the old fixtures. These lights have to Color Temperature of 5,000 for daylight. This makes them ideal for building or signage lighting. These are not recommended for the landscape lighting for walls and trees since it washes out as the "daylight" 5,000 bulbs usually do. Look on Amazon for the 3000K warm white versions for landscape lighting. We have done repeat buys of this product so we have years of experience with it.

These worked great for me

These worked great for me. I had 150 watt quartz halogens with motion sensors on my house and I simply changed the light fixtures out and kept the motion sensors intact. Can't speak to the longevity yet but will update. Very bright.UPDATE: One of the two fixtures I had ordered and installed has died after 6 months. I ordered and installed a 30w version of the same fixture so we'll see how long this one lasts. Will update in another few months, or when fixture dies, whichever comes first.Supposed to have a 2 year warranty.

Only worked for a year and half

Bought a pair of them Nov 2018, only turned them on during night time and i was hoping to get at least 10 years based on suggested life expectancy. very disapointed. it says two years warranty but i doesnt give me any option of who to contact and how to process the warranty. i have attached photos of what they are now and what they should be.

Not happy, no longer working after only 8 months, second one lasted less than 3 months

Bought this light in February 2019 and it is no longer working. Worked great for 8 months and now it is dead. Just hope they honor the two year warranty as stated. Money as refunded for the first one, and we reordered. Second one died in less than three months.

work great !!!

put 4 in my garage, lit it up better than the 4-250 w halogens that I had in before. And then there are the savings in my power bill. I just ordered 6 more.
