All About Me: The Story of Your Life: Guided Journal

I had my mom fill this book out before she lost her mind to dementia. It's fun to see answers to questions that I never thought to ask her when she was alive and it's nice to show to future generations who barely knew her or only knew her "at the end".

It helped me learn a lot about myself I didn't really have a grasp on at first. It's def a good book to work with

First, I must say I am in no way affiliated with the author or Publishers of this book. I just love it! I purchased this book as a part of a self-discovery process and I can't speak highly enough about it! It was referred to me by a highly respected therapist in my area, and I loved it so much I bought several copies of the book to give to others, who also gave me great feedback. The book has multiple formats of asking questions. I find this particularly effective because one format does not necessarily work for everyone. There are true and false questions, fill in the blank questions, multiple choice, etc. The font is large enough, and the pages short enough, that I never felt overwhelmed when reading / filling out the book. In fact, on the contrary, it was so much fun, I had to use discipline to keep myself from trying to complete the book in one sitting... Which I do not recommend. Some of the questions require deep thought... Make sure you take the time to do just that, and give quality answers. You'll look back later and be happy you did. Another suggestion I have four people is to look at the book one year or two years later and read your answers. Sometimes it's surprising how much you've changed. I found it beneficial to buy another copy a few years later and fill that one out, and I plan to continue this process. It's very interesting to go back and read my various answers throughout the years in my growth process. Definitely a quality use of time and money - order it today!

This book is exactly what I was asking for i'm just sad that the pages and questions had to end.

I had gotten one of these as a gift around 8 years ago, and loved filling it out. Its so fun to now go through and compare my answers. Recently I bought this again, and this time bought two. I filled one out 'all about me' and left the other blank. I've just given both to my boyfriend as a gift. So he'll be able to read all of mine, and fill his own out. (I did this with the intention of letting me read his... but we'll see! His birthday is in a few days!) Love this book and its so fun to fill out. There are a few things that maybe you wouldn't want 'children' to fill out, like some sex questions. I would probably buy myself or adult partner one first before buying it for a younger person. Just so you can look through first. There are 'teenage' versions, however I haven't looked through those. Its a great idea to fill one of these out every few years, so fun to see how we change. Love it, and it came quickly, well packaged and no damage whatsoever. Great sender and I would buy again!

Fun book. I filled it out in a night and enjoyed it. I liked some of the yes or no questions and short-answer questions. Some were random (what animal would you be?) and some were more standard(name, jobs, etc.). I rate it a 3/4 only because some of the questions were too bizarre or about sexual fantasies. I didn't care for those. If it weren't for the sex or weird questions, I would recommend it as a gift for relatives or as a memoir. Even so, this book is fun as a 'self discovery' tool... your sexuality is part of you, and blah blah blah. I just wouldn't recommend it as an heirloom gift or for older relatives. I'm young, and even I didn't care for those questions. But, overall, it does do a pretty good job of asking about your life, family, friends, regrets, dreams, memories, and more. It doesn't seem as in depth as other books, which is both nice (quicker to fill out) and a negative (not as complete a picture about you). The book quality is good enough. The paper is a bit thin, but not bad. The cover is a glossy hardcover. Not as elegant as another questionnaire journal I've tried, but still nice enough. It's under 100 pages thick. It's a fun book to fill out, and relatively quick to fill in the answers than other books.

AWESOME BOOK, especially for people who love writing about themselves! If you have TW (trigger warnings) I wouldn’t recommend that much, especially if your below the age of 13 AT LEAST , but if your older, it’s probably fine cause you can answer about weddings,(not saying people older than 13 are married, I mean like 20+) but other than that, it’s really fun!

今の自分について書いておくことは 少し面倒な質問もありましたが とても良いことでした。 数年前に購入、本へ直接答えを記入しましたが 今見てみるととてもおもしろい。 あの頃叶えていなかった夢が叶っている今の自分を 発見することができました。 また、その頃の自分を鮮明に思い出すきっかけとなりました。 もう1冊買って、今の自分のことを書いてみようかな。

Esta muy lindo, es de pasta dura

I love the questions in this book, they really get you thinking. It's lovely to write out your memories and get challenged by them. As I'm not that old I found it hard to write some parts. Although I think this book can be suitable for most ages.

Bogus and useless

It brought back such great memories things I had long forgotten about. Got me talking to family and reconnecting.
