The Neewer Dimmable Bi-Color LED video lights with stands are a must have for any photographer/videographer on a budget. Compared to the more expensive options out there, these LED lights have legs to stand on! Pun intended! Price vs Quality is on point! The tripod style stands are sturdy and fold down to a very manageable size for transporting. I only use these lights as a filler, I use the Neewer 18" ring light for my main lighting source as it gets very bright. The LED light heads get reasonably bright in a daytime setting and have a dimmable switch on the back to control both white and yellow LEDs. You can mix the colors together for creating your own temperature based on your needs. Although I only use them while plugged into a wall outlet, they do have the capability of battery operation as well (bought separately). Pros - Affordable - Good quality build - Fairly bright - Doesn't generate noticeable heat Cons - Power adapter cable isn't very long. When the stand is extended to 5', the ac adapter hangs about 3' off the ground and the weight of the adapter puts a strain on the actual plugin on the back of the light panel. Not a deal breaker - just use some clamps to attach it to the tripod pole and problem solved. However, Neewer should have thought of this during the design stage.

The product arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and is surprisingly solid and high quality. Are there better lighting rigs for $1000? Absolutely. But for sub $200, I don't think this product can be beat. It produces warmer and colder lights and allows you to balance between the two to your liking. It works perfect for product photography for my eBay store, and I am sure it would work well in many other photography and lighting applications. My only complaint is that the wires on the power brick are a touch short. When the stands are extended high, the brick will be dangling. I will be using some zip ties to secure it to the stand to avoid creating any pressure points in the wires. But this is just a nitpick and does not detract from my five stars. Over all, it was exactly what I needed, and seems to be a solid unit at a very reasonable price.

Okay this would have gotten five stars for the price of it and I felt like there’s real value for that price. Pros: -bright! -cool tones and warm tones are extra crispy -super light weight -well made frames -light stand is pretty decent -could definitely survive some bumps and bruises of a clumsy individual Cons: -power cord doesn’t reach floor if stand are fully extended. But I had read that on another review, obviously wasn’t a deal breaker for me for I have a brain and extra extension cords -the clips where you might slide a gel in are kinda cheap and slip back out of place if you hardly tap it. But once you slide the main piece in with a gel it’s sturdy enough to wiggle the light around and it’s not going to fall out. I bought nothing else with this so it only plugs in to the wall. But they are real decent so I may invest in the batteries to take them on the go. Overall would purchase a recommend for this price.

They have great lighting

As an amateur photographer and occasional Zoom warrior, I was looking to step up my lighting game without emptying my wallet. This Neewer 2-pack LED lighting kit turned out to be just what I needed. The kit includes two LED panel lights, two sturdy albeit lightweight stands, white diffuser filters, and power adapters – basically everything to get going. Setup was super simple: I had both lights assembled and on their stands in about 10 minutes. The stands extend to about 6 feet, which covers most of my use cases (portraits, product shots on a table, and lighting me during video calls). They collapse down small, so storage is easy too. Now onto the performance: the 480 LED panels put out a lot of light for their size. They are bi-color, meaning you can dial the color temperature anywhere from a warm tungsten-ish 3200K to a cool daylight 5600K. I absolutely love this feature – it lets me match the room lighting or achieve a certain mood by just turning a knob. For example, I was shooting some photos in my living room in the evening; I set one light to a warm tone to mimic the lamplight and the other to white daylight to fill in shadows – the mix gave a beautiful natural look. The color rendering is excellent (CRI 96 is advertised, and from what I see, colors on camera look accurate and not washed out). Both brightness and color temp are adjustable via separate knobs on the back of each panel, so it’s infinitely adjustable to whatever scene you have. In use, the lights are steady and reliable. There’s no flicker on camera, and they stay relatively cool even after an hour of use (unlike old-school hot lights). Each panel is dimmable, and at full power, they’re very bright – more than enough for indoor shoots or lighting up a small studio space. I often only need to run them at 50% or less for fill light. The included white diffusers soften the light nicely for portraits (no harsh shadows on faces). If I need an even softer touch, I just drape a thin cloth or bounce the light off a wall. For portability, these can also run on NP-F batteries (not included) which I had from other gear, making them great for on-location shoots where plugging in isn’t convenient. The kit doesn’t come with a carry bag, but I repurposed an old tripod bag for the stands and a padded case for the lights. Overall, I’m thrilled with the value this Neewer kit provides. It has turned a corner of my basement into a mini photo studio and improved the quality of my videos dramatically (good lighting makes all the difference, who knew I could look this good on webcam? 😜). Bought these lights to help out with YouTube videos. I really like how they were so easy to set-up. Literally took me 2 minutes. They are also smaller than light boxes, which is so convenient when moving around. Also, the brightness was on point! My YouTube videos are looking awesome. I’m so excited to keep using these lights for my videos.

Very well made (aluminum) Has two colour choices 3200k and 5500, so very useful for chromakeying and direct lighting as well as using as a fill light. They are light weight and fit nicely into the bag it comes with. Uses very little power and generates no heat. They run well on batteries as well for portable situations. I recommend these.

Its only 28W and its way too less power and super high priced. Diffuser provided will still provide shadow. I tested, but my tubelight in my room which is 20W Philips provide better lighting than this. I regret buying this product.
