Is this compatible with 2006 nissan titan se v8 5.6l automatic transmission ?

I bought it for a 3.5 liter v6. I dont know if it's the same part for a v8.

I had a slip light and vdc off light also. On 2006 Murano. New camshaft position sensors took care of those also in my case.

Is this what would cause your car not to go into gear properly?

Camshaft sensor can prevent car from starting, it is responsible for coordinating fuel injectors with engine camshaft position. If its shifting improperly it is probably the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) that tells transmission when to shift gears. I have experienced/replaced both.
