This (Ocean Breeze) is one of my favorite Lampe Berger fragrances. It's not overpowering but gets rid of cooking smells (even frying smells) in no time + it freshens up the air without making me uncomfortable. Being allergic/sensitive to chemicals, perfumes, fragrances, etc., that's a big plus as I've never been able to use anything expect genuine Lampe Berger fragrances and homemade essential oil sprays... I was born and raised in France, and we always had a Lampe Berger around. I never remember my home smelling of food or anything else despite the facts that my parents cooked from scratch daily and we had pets. Lampes Berger are known to purify the air by destroying odors and airborne bacteria. Unlike candles and sprays, they don't mask odors; they eliminate them through catalytic combustion (which moves large volumes of air through the lamp, increasing the oxygen level in the air). Back in the old days, Lampes Berger were used in hospital to get rid of airborne bacteria... The Lame Berger fragrances contain essential oils and natural botanical extracts. They perfume the air lightly, providing aroma therapy, and some even have insect repelling properties! Tip: Make sure you extinguish the flame within 2–4 minutes to avoid damaging the stone of your Lampe Berger. Also: No need to keep the lamp on for hours. Results are achieved within minutes!

I am relatively new to Lampe Berger but I have tried a few scents. My favorite is the Green Apple but I also like the Ocean Breeze and Eucalyptus. I didn't care for the Creme Brulee or the Vanilla or the Almond even though they would normally be the types of scents that I prefer- they were too much like cloying perfume and less fresh. They reminded me of my grandmother's boudoir where she kept all her cosmetics and perfumes like Halston with that ' powdery sandalwood patchouli incense odor. It's not that the scents were offensive but it just wasn't how I would want my home to smell. So, I use the green apple most often because it's a neutral fresh scent that won't gag you or seem too ' pretty'. It really does smell like a fresh green apple. I think it would also make a nice autumn scent even though it's just green apple and no cinnamon or clove. Ocean breeze is very fresh with a touch of spiciness that reminds me of Claire Burke's Seaside or Seashore scent. The Eucalyptus is fresh with an evergreen or herbal green scent and I would think would work well around winter holidays. I do dilute my scents 2 to 1 or 3 to 1

Fantastic product. However it’s a bit over priced. It’s great to clear the air in the winter when we can’t open up the house.

Beat smell ever

I love the Ocean Breeze fragrance of Lampe Berger. I use it in my foyer and family room and kitchen to take away unpleasant odors. It gives off a nice subtle fragrance that is like a breathe of fresh ocean breeze.

I am fascinated with Lampes Bergére, and adore this ocean breeze scent. I have rambunctious cats and love that you don’t have to leave an open flame with this like you do with scented candles. And - truly amazing - the lamp really DOES remove odors, and doesn’t just mask them. Everything from animal scents to old-house musty to burnt food … it’s just GONE. This will be my go-to gift for the holidays!

Smells really nice and works great in the lamp berger.

I like the way it makes my house smell. Yes it it’s a little to expensive but it makes the whole house smell good. I also wonder if you can make the cap a little user friendly. I have arthritis in my fingers and find it hard to open and close the cap.
