MEINL Percussionのミニシリーズは、このダラブッカ、ジャンベ、カホンの三つを購入した。 私は全盲である。したがって、ダラブッカとはどんな楽器なのか、写真ですら見たことがない。 いくつかの動画やCDで聞いた音と本製品の音を比較してみると、このミニダラブッカの音羽、ダラブッカという楽器の特徴を押さえつつ、それを小さなスケールできちんと表現しているように感じる。足の間に挟んで両手で真ん中をたたくと曇った感じの独特な低音が鳴るし、端の金属部分と打面を同時にたたくと、金属をたたいたときの音と太鼓をたたいたときの音が混ざり合って、これまたこの楽器らしい独特の高音が出せる。 適当にたたいても、一般的な太鼓をたたいているのではなく、民族楽器としてのダラブッカをたたいているという気分が味わえた。 これまで購入したこのシリーズ三つの中で、最も全体的な満足度が高いと感じた。
