I bought this kit to adapt a wood burning fire ring. It took a bit of work but it was totally worth it. I filled the ring with lava rock and ceramic logs. I removed one star because the regulator is very finicky and the starter valve is difficult to turn. At first I barely had a two inch flame with everything wide open. After fiddling around with the regulator and trying again, I got a fire ball that nearly singed off my hair. After that, it worked perfectly. I've never encountered anything like that with either of my previous gas fire rings. However, all that said, I love how it turned out and it is definitely worth the money.

I would have given it 5 s but the mounting bracket for the ignition sparker it self on the burner wasn't in a position for the sparker to hit the propane fumes... So I had to remove the bracket and make my own... But other than that this thing is stupid proof ... Awesome material as well... Thanks

The product is very good and easy to assemble. I purchased it as a retrofit to replace an old non-working burner assembly and I really like the 2 ring layout. It would be nice if there were spacer tabs under the rings to point the flames up. The length of the hose to the propane tank is a little short, but I was able to re-use my original longer hose. Overall, very nice and great value for the price.
