Perfect replacement for OEM part. Super easy install just make sure to watch fingers around plastic edges they can be sharp and don’t press to hard on piece when installing because it will crack. Be as gentle as possible

My driver side trim has been missing for about 1.5 years now. I’m so happy to have it back together after waiting for Ford to get parts for the recall. No issues with installment and fit was perfect. I’m hoping it helps with the cab noise from air.

Vey good replacement, was surprised at the quality. The parts covered every detail , cushion ring spacers , clips. Covered with clear plastic to prevent scratching while installing. Of course, for the type of part your are replacing you need to be patient when installing, it’s such a good fit, And most importantly was reasonably priced. So glad I picked this brand. Oh yea , it is shipped in the box which is placed in side a second box , to prevent damage.

I ordered this to avoid the wait for the recall on the original piece that broke on our explorer. When the part showed up, it included an adhesive strip to attach the inner molding to the outer molding that they shipped. This molding is attached to the original OEM piece by sliding tabs that can be taken off and reattached. After attaching the inner molding via adhesive, I attempted to install the assembled molding to the vehicle. The molding broke while pushing it into the push tabs that fix it to the vehicle. Even though the plastic was more brittle than I would expect, I assumed this was my error and ordered a second trim piece. When the new piece arrived I realized I could not use the old inner trim piece as it was glued to the first broken piece. As I evaluated further, I realized that the first piece broke because the piece does not fit properly and the misaligned tabs are what caused the molding to break. I found another trim elsewhere that included the inner molding for a similar price. I do not recommended purchasing this molding.

Almost 5 stars reason for 4 stars is when I opened the package to inspect it. I noticed the right side molding had 2 tabs broken. Luckily they supplied some extra tabs so I was able to replace them. I got the 2 peice package for LH and RH. I Cleaned the area very well on both sides and cleaned the glass with a razor blade. I hand tight the bolts on the new moldings and placed the top pillar peice in from the bottom and worked my way up giving it a mild slap with the palm of my hand to snap in the clips. I had already peeled the backing tape enough for me to grab the tale end so when pillar was all snapped in I just peeled the backing tape to seal it in place.

Perfect fit. Looks great.

Fits as it should, cheap plastic that is lesser quality than OEM, but it works.

I was very pleased with this replacement trim piece. I removed the old base piece and wiped down the area. Installed the new base piece with no issues. I had a little issue snapping new trim into place until I started at the top and worked my way down. Looks and works great!!!
