Used couple times, i damaged the original fastener when I removed the cover. The fastener was different type, but I can find the one would work in the box. The tool pretty handy to avoid the damage to the painted area. And it’s cheap. One piece could cost 100 bucks in dealership, unbelievable.

I ordered these as I have to replace the older ones on my 2004 Honda Accord. If anyone is familiar with these plastic rivets that Honda used, you will agree with me that these rivets will eventually turn brittle and become a pain to remove (should you ever have to). These fits perfectly onto the fender, the front bumper and the grille. Buy a whole pack, since they are cheap and use will have spares (trust me, you will WANT spares).

I put my bumper up on a curb that my car normally clears while parking. The difference this time was that it had tight packed snow on it. The bumper was unharmed, but I did lose a few of the plastic fasteners for it. I purchased these to fix it myself, and they worked and fit perfectly. No issues, months later. Unfortunately, they are not the same fasteners as used for the windshield washer fluid receptacle. I broke one of those replacing a headlight just last week. They are not advertised as such, but I was hoping to get lucky. That prompted this review, ages after the original purchase. My car is an 08 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Would buy again.
