A really fun game that boosts communication and thinking skills. The premise of this game is the following: you have a bunch of different tea cups, you flip a card and have to build the tower the card shows, relay style, as quickly as possible. Why this is a good learning toy is because they're learning without noticing: - they have to count how many cups high the tower is. - they have to remember what cup goes next. - they have to carefully place things without making a mess. - they have to be quick thinking to do it quickly and correctly. - they have to communicate 'under pressure' to get the tower built efficiently. This is best played with a group of kids. It would also work with 2 teams (could be a mix of children and parents). It is not the typical learning we think about but these are all skill that young children need to fine tune and practise and the more they do, the easier they'll have it as they grow up. Definitely a lot of fun and a good learning toy (that can also double up as a play pretend, tea time set).

I am personally a fan of Learning Resources, I think they have great educational toys that are different thank what you would usually buy from other brands. This cute set is a perfect gift for a child. I think 3-6 years is the perfect age for this game. It has instructions inside but I also think that can be used for role play just with the tea cups and trays, or basic stacking game. The set includes 1 teapot, 8 teacups, 8 saucers, 1 order cards, 2 tea trays and the cabinet game board which is basically the box. I think the quality is great and the box looks really good. A Lovely product with many different tea cups that can be stacked, easy to hold and lightweight, love the material as well as the colour and sturdiness of it. Nicely priced, great durability and great value for money. Packed very well.

I got this to start getting my daughter into something that is more of an educational game and one that could combine practising of counting along with overall coordination. The set includes 1 teapot, 8 teacups, 8 saucers, 1 order cards, 2 tea trays and the cabinet game board; mind you the box is the latter, so go easy when you open it up! The game itself can be quite competitive and relies on flipping over a challenge card and then carrying out the challenge itself. There is educational value in that, but I can also see potentially fuelling a competitive streak in players! One thing I found was the little round top of the lid broke off after an hour’s worth of playing and I had to quickly make it disappear, as it was a choking hazard. Also, while the saucers and cups are plastic, the teapot itself is metal (?) and feels as if attention is needed. All in all, a nice educational game that aims to develop a few skills.

We’ve literally sat all morning playing this game. The bell on the teapot makes it more exciting for my daughter, she wants to press it all the time! Amazing for fine motor skills and I love the backdrop in the box. Not just a game, as she’s been using the cups to feed her dollies too! Good quality game with hours of fun, beautifully packaged.

My nephews love their play kitchen and games, this offers both. They have great fun trying to balance the cups and also just using the teapot to make me pretend cups of tea. Well made and provide hours of entertainment.

The instructions were easy to read, the colours were great, the cupboard was super cute and it was perfect for little hands. Our family had so much fun playing with this, it's fast paced so the little ones don't get board and distracted. Our children had fun playing tea party too so double the fun
