101 Best Family Card Games

Great little book. Loved the games in it. I used it in conjunction with a game box I built as a gift. Worked out perfectly!

I bought this book used. It is in very good condition and came on scheduled time. The book has lots of card games and very easy to learn new ones.

Way cheaper than buying specific games. Book tells you how to play lots of different games.

At first look, a number of games that are repetitive with minor changes. I'll let you know more after I use it with the grandkids.

I ordered this for my husband because it was a book that I used to use when I was younger to learn all the best card games. I'm so excited to start playing some good old fashioned card games! I'm glad I could get him something he can use on deployment.

In addition to games I played as a child, this book contains fun games I can teach the kids. We are having a blast learning the new games! The instructions are easy to follow and understand.

Great value if you like playing cards.

With todays rage for smartphone and tablet gaming & communication the good old pack of 52 cards is oft forgotten. Except when you play poker online or solitaire on your computer. This book however brings back the old style of play, sitting around a table or around on a floor the games are hilarious (Pig especially) or serious - with a great mix between. It means interaction and fun, which is a good thing. Games for 1 to lots of players. Great way to learn the proper rules for games. Take your time to work out the rules once you read an unfamiliar game, go through 1 or 2 trial runs until everyone gets the hang of it. I did buy this book for my 6 year old, she wasn't impressed at the time but 6 months later her nose is in it all the time and she constantly wants to play. So much so that I have to put the playing cards out of reach sometimes (need that break from time to time!).

This is a very good introduction to card games of the family type. I bought this for my children and we have managed to learn a number of new card games from this book, some of which are now firm favourites. The book is divided into 10 different types of card games, ranging from games for the very young, to the whist family, trumps family, rummy family or even solitaire games. All the games are simply described, listing how many people can play, how many cards are dealt, the aim of the game, and also strategy tips. Overall, an excellent little book

I wish that there had been more variety in the book, however, my children and I enjoyed learning 101 new card games, and have found a few new favorites!

Looking for new card Games this is for you

I bought this book to relearn the rules for the simple card games I played as a child; Go Fish! and Crazy Eights etc. I thought it was about time my five year old son learned to play cards. It has turned out to be a very worthwhile purchase. The instructions for the games are easy to follow and there are loads of different ones, including games that I had never heard of before. They are also family appropriate with games ranging from Go Fish to Rummy suitable for all different ages. As a result of purchasing this book, my husband, son and I have discovered that we really enjoy playing cards together and have had several after dinner, before bed games. Hope this helps!
