Came as expected. My granddaughter loves her doll.

Having long hair that can be combed was very important and this hair is perfect. My daughter had read the book that came with the doll the last 4 nights. She can't read, I read it to her a couple of times, but she thinks she can read. She thinks the doll looks like her. It is a pricey doll but worth it in my opinion.

Our family has a number of American girl dolls and this one arrived in perfect condition. Her hair is easy to maintain (you barely need a brush, use your fingers) and her wig color is beautiful. We will be buying American Girl products from Amazon from now on since shipping is super fast. No more waiting two weeks from American Girl!

There is no way to describe the disappointment I had with this doll. I ordered it for myself, as a birthday gift and was so looking forward to receiving this gorgeous-looking doll. But - 1) as soon as it arrived, it was obvious it was not the doll that was advertised. The Jess face in the stock photo looks so gentle and innocent, the skin is such a beautiful colour and the eyes are those of a little lion cub in colour. You get nothing of that sort. The doll is still lovely, but the photos and the product are very, VERY different. Shame; 2) the left eye socket is considerably smaller than the right one. So when the eye was squashed into it, it could not sit properly, not in a thousand years. And there it was, left wonky, with eyelashes squished and looking like there was no space for the eyeball in that head. See photos attached (if Amazon let's me upload them from my phone). Argh... What a waste of time and money (were I to keep it). And, since I live in the UK, returns were a nightmare. I should have tried the Post Office first, but no, I had to follow the instructions provided, which took me to the store that did not accept the parcels, as did the other store, 3 miles away, so I randomly walked into a Post Office building next doo, who kindly accepted it and now I am sat here, waiting for the refund to come through, '7 days after the parcel arrives' - when will that happen. Honestly, my advice is - get the doll if you can see it first, in person, or if you have time on your hands to run around with returns and replacements. Had they offered me half the price refund, I would have been very tempted to keep the doll and attempt an eye fix, which I had never ever done on an AG. But, having bought it at full price, there was no really an option apart from sending it back. Cannot recommend playing this #79 lottery.

American girl doll was perfect. New in box. I really liked the length of her hair. Her face mold is like Kanani. Very happy with my purchase.

I was not sure if it would be the same as the dolls I have ordered directly from American Doll, but was very happy to see it was. Being Canadian, it was a much better deal (almost half the cost) of buying from the company in the US. It would be nicer to have more selection of the dolls on Amazon.ca, but am glad that there is an option.
