What is the origin of this tea - the location/country?

I am giving you info off my box of tea.  First off let me say that I have used this tea for several years.  It has many wellness properties. The box states "ABSOLUTELY ORGANIC, ETHICALLY WILDCRAFTED AND PUREST QUALITY".  It is caffeine free and has a pleasant fragrance and taste.  I use it for my 12lb poodle. She has spay incontinence and instead of putting her on a medication that has nasty side effects my research stated that this tea is actually used by MD's for urinary leakage in humans. It states it is harvested in South America and and bagged in US.  Before I send this, I want to say that my dog means the world to me and I would never put anything in her that could be harmful and it has done wonders for her.  My vet was so impressed with my research. Hope this helps.

Is this GMO free?

I am glad you asked that, so many people just eat or drink whatever. yes it is, anything with a stamped organic symbol has to be free of GMO and pesticides, or chemicals. just the way nature intended. this is a wonderful tea. I use it because I have chronic kidney disease. I take 2 bags, plus 2 milk thistle , and 2 dandelion. this keeps me from having to go on dialysis. I mix it with some soy milk. it's delicious. Regarding the dandelion leaf tea, what are the tea bags made of?

I'm assuming you have not yet purchased a box, so I'll give you the info written on the box about the paper of the bags.  "In this box you won't find any strings, tags, or staples in our chlorine free bags." The box I bought states the tea is made from the leaves of the plant only - no stems. When my friend recommended I buy Dandelion Tea and drink it daily, he recommended ONLY BUY from a LEAF ONLY source. I'm very happy with this product.
