My shop's rollup door is brand new with excellent bottom seal, but the concrete pad is not level and constantly allows water to flood inside during heavy rains.This floor strip completely waterproofed the door's bottom edge. I'm extremely impressed with both it's quality and durability so far; been installed for 1yr. No peeling, cracking, or erosion observed yet.

I pot this down on my floor and it works great. My garage is heated and cooled I mostly use it as a recording studio but also as a garage to store my Harley and lawn mower. This keeps bad weather , humidity ,cold and heat. I have several expensive instruments in my garage and this helps. My SON liked it so much I got him one for his garage which he uses as a motorcycle repair and wood working shop and he said it dade a difference for his garage.

I like the threshold strip. It keeps out of my garage rain water, leaves and rocks from the weed-wacker. But don't expect to use the included adhesive unless you install it immediately upon arrival. That black adhesive has only one year life from MFG date to expiration date. I bought it while finishing my garage build and tried to install it seven months later. Lost three months it was sitting in an Amazon warehouse. By then, both tubes of adhesive were completely solid and worthless. I had to use Liquid Nails to complete the job.

This is a legit DIY project that really feels, looks, and works like one would hope to have permanently installed as a protective barrier (weather protection) for your garage where the door meets the floor. It’s thick enough to protect your garage floor from driving rain. It’s durable enough to withstand repeated garage door openings & closings. Though quite thick materials, it is easy to cut to customize for your door. Everything considered, this provides excellent value for your money.

Super easy to install. I got so tired of having to sweep out the leaves and dirt that kept getting blown into my garage. This stopped that! Wish I had ordered it sooner.

For 45 years, it annoyed me about the rainwater leaking into my garage. I have replaced the garage doors, the door seals, even attempted to chisel away some concrete to channel the invading water away.Finally! A quality product! Even a caveman like me could install it easily within minutes! And it works! No water in garage! No more sweeping out!First, I lightly wire brushed area. I have a garage floor sealant, and wanted the caulk to stick solidly. Then I measured distance ( twice!) between garage door tracks. The roll was just OVER what was needed, so I cut in half. Laying rubber ( good pliable heavy duty rubber) out, I lined it up as instructed and penciled edges. Instead of totally removing it, I was able to roll one side up on itself while squeezing out the more than enough caulk. That was I simply unrolled it back into place and closed door onto it to hold it in place while it dried. The penciling helped to insure it was perfect. There’s also a yellow line on the rubber to line up the inside edge perfectly- you can gently make corrections as the caulk is still wet. Keeping door closed overnite will ‘ seal the deal’. (Don’t forget to park car outside if you have to go out- driving overstep when caulk is wet will move it! ). There’s plenty of extra caulk, so if there’s any gap between rubber and door frame, pile some caulk in there to make a perfect seal. I put a small piece of Saran Wrap there where I piled extra caulk at edge so it wouldn’t stick to door bottom. Worked perfectly. Rains came after job. Garage is dry- first time in 45 years!

Goes down well and easy to cut. The black adhesive does stain the grey if you get it on the top so be careful with that.

I bought the 16 feet length and it worked well for my 2 door garage. It came with the silicone.I bought the grey colour seal and it came with black silicone which wasn't the most appropriate colour. Wiping off the excess made the grey plastic se messy.Perhaps the supplier should ship the grey seal with grey silicone.Now I have to clean the seal. Hope paint thinner would clean it.

Had a poor garage floor cement install in purchased property that was high in middle. Garage door would not seal from weather on outside . This product solved the problem, so I don't have water seeping in on corners

Excellent product. Only issue is the adhesive that was included is not suited to the cold climate we have here.
