Absolutely amazing wire. The burn characteristics are crisp, gaseous flux, excellent arc stability, good flow of puddle. Look out Lincoln, Miller, Harris, etc .

I recently tried out the ARCCAPTAIN Flux Core Welding Wire for a series of DIY welding projects, and I was quite pleased with the results. This wire works really well with my Lincoln welder, making it a great choice for various mild steel tasks. One of the things I really like about this wire is how smoothly it feeds through the welder. This makes a big difference, especially when working on longer welds. The bead quality is excellent, and it produces a consistent, clean weld with minimal spatter, which means less cleanup afterward. Using it for some mild steel repairs and small fabrication projects, I found it performed admirably. The welds were strong and looked professional, even without any gas shielding. The convenience of gasless welding is a huge plus for me, as it simplifies the setup and makes outdoor welding much easier. On the downside, it does produce a bit more smoke than solid wire with gas, but that's to be expected with flux core wire. As long as you have good ventilation, it's not a big issue. This welding wire has definitely earned a spot in my workshop for its reliability and ease of use. It's perfect for DIY enthusiasts like myself who need a dependable wire for various welding projects.

The wire itself is actually really good, sadly I've placed three orders and All three times the Amazon shipping package is flawless but the box the wire comes in is absolutely destroyed and the vacuum seal for the welding wire is also broken which will degrade the wire over time when stored. I have purchased over $600 worth of gear from Arccaptain and I honestly have been very impressed with a quality and ease of use with everything including welding with this wire. I'm only giving it four stars just because it is very frustrating to go an entire month doing three separate returns and still not have wire to weld with. And see all three boxes under the pictures.

Genial genera poca cascarilla

Previously a coded welder and was never a fan of cored wired unless used with a shielding gas as well. So on using this when welding outside in not great weather conditions I was surprised at the weld deposits appearance although hard to totally remove the slag coating off the weld unless you have a mechanical wire brush. Bare wire MIG welds are better looking but using this cored wire was surprisingly good
