In 33 years of use, my Oneida Clarette stainless steel silverware fork and spoons went missing in action. Were pieces thrown away when scrapping dishes? Taken by family for that lunch? I took stock and found it is very expensive to try to replace them. Replaced some from eBay sellers, but found these Oneida Marquette pattern to be so close and a more affordable to get my silverware numbers back up. Very happy with the quality, feel, and the way they blend well with my favored pattern.

This is high quality stainless steel flatware in a beautiful Oneida pattern (Marquette) that's been around for decades. Truly dishwasher safe and 18/8 composition which has excellent luster and durability. It is a great size and weight with good balance and it doesn't bend. I'm very pleased with it so far. Both Oneida and Reed & Barton are now owned by Lenox, and their higher-end lines of flatware are now made in Vietnam instead of in the USA, but the quality seems to be just as good. It's still made of 18/8 or 18/10 stainless and still has the lovely hollow-handle knives. I have some of the old USA-made Marquette and now some of the new, and can't tell any difference in the quality so far. I've used my set of older USA-made Oneida Community 18/8 stainless in a different (unfortunately discontinued) pattern daily for decades, routinely putting it in the dishwasher, and it still looks beautiful and will continue to be used. I expect this will hold up just as well although I haven't had it long. Yes, I'd rather it was still made in the USA, but I'm glad several of the classic Oneida patterns from the past are still available, still seem to be high quality, and are made somewhere other than in China. Some of the accessory pieces and baby flatware are also available but not as many as in the past. It's hard to beat Oneida if you buy their top-end 18/8 or 18/10 flatware, imo. They make several different quality and price levels, some better than others. FYI: For those willing to pay for flatware made here, Liberty Tabletop bought the old Oneida factory in NY and is the only USA manufacturer of flatware now. However it's more expensive and they don't offer some styles of patterns.

Love them! I was given a service for 12 in 1992 as a gift. I still use them every day. These forks were replacements needed for missing pieces. Beautifully designed, and dressed up or down your table.
