I have mild itchy psoriasis on hands and elbows and a dermatologist recommended hydrocortisone cream. I looked at all the products available: Gold Bond, Cortisone 10, Etc. All were in tubes that don’t last very long. This jar is huge and will last a LONG time so the price is very reasonable for the size of the jar. You don’t need very much. Redness was gone in 24 hrs. Scales are better and no skin irritation. I think the aloe really helps. Follow instructions and use twice a day. Keep it away from your eyes as well. It’s amazing!

I have some kind of contact dermatitis- my skin breaks out from things like certain chemicals, harsh soaps. When it happens my hands get red snd itchy, and I’m miserable. Hydrocortisone cream helps better than anything else, including a prescription ointment. I also need it for dry, itchy skin in winter months.However- when I buy it at any local drug store, all I see are small tubes that are usually 1 oz size -And they are expensive.This larger container is a MUCH better value! You get a good quantity that lasts longer at a far lower price per ounce. Plus the cream works very well for itchy skin!

It is a thick cream, easy to apply. Works great for insect bites and especially poison ivy. There is no scent to worry about.

This is the 2nd tub of this i bought for recurrent hives that I've been having lately. It works well to control itching and is a good value if you have to use a lot of it like I have lately. The only issue I have is that the base cream doesn't absorb into the skin very well, leaving a waxy residue on the skin.

I bought this product because I did a stupid thing... I forgot to put on sunscreen before working in the yard, so I needed something shipped right away. Plus, the skeeters this year must have inch long fangs and the most irritating venom (an exaggeration, of course).Now, I'm not prescribing. I'm just indicating the type of application for which I've used it... for me, myself and I.Nonetheless, I'm accustomed to the little tubes of hydrocortisone I buy at big box stores. But this container is relatively enormous to a tube, and you end up spoiling yourself and not rationing with the amount in this container. There's a lot, and I'm sure this will last me a long time.However, it's nothing if not effective and, compared to the off-the-shelf tubes I'm accustomed to buying, there's no difference in efficacy. Whatever worked from the store-bought tubes, I'm getting the same satisfaction. Except, ounce for ounce, I'm getting a whole lot more for my money (I paid $16.99 at the time of my purchase).Anyway, nothing fancy. Works for me. I haven't seen it stain anything of mine, and I've been able to wash it off well.Also, as a bonus tip (if it matters at all), I refrigerate mine because it feels so darn good applied when it's chilled! ;)

Way, way better than the stuff that comes in tubes. The mixture is more firm and actually makes your skin feel moist and definitely gets rid of the dry itchy feel. I ordered an extra jar to have on hand, but really I end up using it on my arms and neck.Oh, I forgot to mention that I’m old and wear support stockings every day. They make my lower legs kind of dry and itchy. I think it is the pressure that sometimes gives me a rash in spots.Using this once a week or twice seems to take care of that problem really well.

Nice cream at a better price than I have seen anywhere else.
