Sturdy, looks good, it functions well, no problem with rust and I assembled it on a concrete slab. Best though if you have a piece of plywood or a table. 🤨. Pre drilling is important, I used a self centering hinge bit first followed up by a regular bit for the longer screws. (Shorter screws do okay with just the centering bit). I had no issues with the screws when pre drilling. As long as your boards are straight and flat, it is easy to use. Used this for a chicken run I built. Keeps the corners square and secure. Plus a fast build, as long as your boards aren’t warped or twisted or BOTH😖.

After I’d built and installed the gate, I was impressed by the clean, simple look and the sturdiness. This gate will hold up nicely for years to come. (One note about that: I used my own powder-coated screws, because the ones that came with the kit were on par with drywall screws, which are not the right fasteners for an outdoor job.) In retrospect, I have to laugh about the estimated assembly and installation time of 25 minutes. I’m a self taught carpenter with years of experience and above average skill. And this gate took me 6 hours to build. Part of this is my own fault, because I changed my mind mid-project to have the gate swing inward rather than outward. In any case, the 3/4 page set of instructions and tiny DIY illustrations were insufficient. They needed to be clearer, larger, and more detailed. Instead, I had to figure out many of the details (which way should this hardware face, what is the precise order of steps, and so on), which led to improvisation and a bunch of “do-overs.” So, the bottom line is, take time before starting to get your cuts right and make a plan of attack. Don’t underestimate the complexity of this “simple” build. It worked out very well in the end but took far too long.

Been holding up for months now. Screw broke off so I'd recommend using some better screws

I used these to help me build my front gate! I didn’t use any measurements and just went off vibes and I think that alone shows you how these are pretty much idiot proof! I do suggest measuring and using a level but what it life without a little whimsy?

Worked great for my chicken coop door! Was easy to install, definitely follow the directions to pre drill the holes to ensure the door stays square.
