Amazing hay!
Very high quality hay but a bit expensive. Comes packaged tightly so no air can get in. You can tell the freshness when you open the package. My guinea pigs love the taste and I'm sure it's healthy because it is a vibrant green color. Every package is consistently fresh, green and great quality. The pieces are long but that's fine. The piggies don't mind. I would buy more if it weren't this pricey, but I understand I'm paying for a higher quality hay. The company sends a little sample of treats with every purchase which my piggies love and that I truly appreciate. I would buy this ALL THE TIME, if I could afford it. Thank you for such a well-made product.

great product for rabbits and allergic humans alike!
Our rabbit Toastie loves this hay, and my daughter who's allergic to hay can now enjoy being with Toastie. Very clean, no dust.

Not Fresh. Grown in Asia.
My rabbit liked the first bag, so I set up a subscription. The 2nd shipment was bad. It smelled bad. It looked bad. The bunny refused to eat it. I did some research. This “fresh” hay is grown in China. By the time it reaches my bunny in North America, it IS NOT FRESH anymore.

Extremely picky dwarf bunny approved!
Have been trying for 3 years now to get this bunny to eat hay & he absolutely refuses, until now. Opened this first bag up and he ripped the first piece right out of my hands before I could offer it to him! It's beautiful hay grass. Stick straight so easy to provide to encourage him to eat & not messy, beautiful color/smell - so fresh, fragrant, and excellent tasting. I can vouch for this, I munched on a few strands myself, and it is very tasty. If you ordered 2.2 lb package, when you get the package it is so super sealed that at first you may think it's only 1.1 lb that you received because you'll see the label says that, but once you cut the seal on the bag inside are 2 individual bags. I had called in a huff thinking a mistake was made. It was my bad and had to call amazon back to apologize LOL. Yes, it seems a little pricey, but if you're at your wits end or just want to give a really nice treat to your bunny I think it's well worth every penny!

December 9th batch was perfect quality - how to get consistent hay like this?"
"This December 9th delivery was exactly what I needed! Soft, green timothy hay that my rabbit with dental issues loves. Previous orders from various sellers have been hit or miss, but this batch was outstanding. The hay was fresh, mostly green pieces (not yellow stems), and perfect texture. I want to order more but need to know how to ensure I get this same quality consistently. What should I look for or request when ordering? This is the standard I'm hoping for in future purchases!"

Chinchilla loves!
Just the best! Less "messy" than other hay.

Something weird about this stuff
I’m familiar with field to air-dried hay from a company that tried to get this going in this country some years ago, so I thought I’d see what this version was like. It looked nice and green - as it should based on using rapid drying straight off the field - but …it smelled very, very weird: a strong very strange chemical kind of smell. And it was SO dry it was very brittle. Perhaps it was LREADY QUITE OLD. The hay had grown very tall and very very skinny so there was a long section of bone dry yellow-green stem and a section of very long thin, dry but bright green leaf with long thin seed heads. I suggest cutting the very long strands not break them, to get servings into a manageable form or you’ll end up with nothing but a pile of fragments. My guys ate the leaf but ignored the stem and the heads - both of which they will eat eagerly if those are fresh and tasty. That makes this hay even more expensive because you’re tossing out a big percent of what you buy. But the real deciding factor for my rating is that they all got smelly loose poops the day after eating this. I mean like an evil smelling mush all over their butts, just awful I double checked that the cause was this hay not something else by removing this stuff completely, and feeding them other hay until they’d had normal poops for a week, and then giving them this again to see what would happen. Which was exactly the same as before: smelly poopy butts all round. Without doing expensive lab tests I don’t know why they had this response to this lot of this product. But a rabbit’s GI system health is so crucial for their well being that we’re crossing this off the hay option list for us. It’s a pity. Rapid air dried hay is a super idea. This version not so much. Also note that it’s non-returnable.

Great care is given to this hay !
This hay surpasses premium as it is hand, cut and dried with the correct amount of moisture remaining in it , it is all approximately the same thickness and size it feel soft to the touch , I took a bag to my bunnies vet. He looked at it. He said I believe this is gonna be the healthiest hay Buddy Phoo has ever eaten ! I have less waste better hay all the way around , I was not expecting for this hay to be vacuum packed for freshness - I placed two piles of hay, one of the premium, and one of the regular hay from a competitor. Buddy chose the premium hay , the overall cost is about the same, except I will come out ahead because I have less waste !

Excellent quality hay
I am 120% satisfied with my order. It arrived quickly, and my bunny absolutely loves the hay. Additionally, I love that they include a small package of Timothy pellets. My previous order of this same hay never arrived, but I was able to get a full refund, so I will continue purchasing this hay for as long as I have my bunny. Thank you again, from Daisy (bunny) very satisfied customers.
