Best monocular Ever I always wanted a pair of binoculars. But I did a bit of research on the web and ended up with this Xgazer monocular. You can't beat the price. View is very clear, with or without my glasses on. I like the eye cup feature, it helps to accommodate my glasses and it has great focus. Internal compass tells the direction of your target based on your possition (north, south, east, west). It has good lense covers and fits nicely in my hand. and the pouch is amazing as well The reticle (range finder) is also a plus (I need a little practice with this). Might be a bit large for some people due to the 42mm lense but still very portable. The cord it came with to help hold it aroud your neck is very cheap so is the case. I'll be replacing the cord very soon. The case on the other hand helps keep it from the elements but doesn't seem very shock proof. If you need more details on the product, you can go to the manufacture website and download a manual to get more info. Plus the od green is just cool. All in all this is great buy.

First one had big black spec in optic an compass wouldn’t reliably spin, then got replacement unit and compass had big air bubble in it.

Very handy Monoculars.. These Xgazer monoculars are Very handy even if you have good binocs as I do. Quick to grab and a really good view from the lens. the rangefinder and compass are a great bonus Not much to pay for very good view and is well built and rugged. Don't know why you need to pay more for a monocular!

Functional but not exceptional. Handy for use on boat not so much for birding or sky watching.

This monocular is all we wanted. It works clearly and simply. It stays focused. The end caps go on easily and stay unless dislodged. The compass is visible but not in the way, unless you hold it wrong. It will never need batteries. Highly recomnended, except for easily replaced straps. The handstrap is weak yet dislodges the ocular cap. The neck strap too easily falls apart.

These optics are fantastic. All these features in this compact size. The range finder is very simple to use and if not needed it is just a finger press from not in viewed scope. The views are great up to 150 yds to 200 if you are hunting, as I do. So much easier than binoculars. Anything smaller or fine viewing would not work well at that distance. Over all this is great and compact

Pros: It has a nice clear wide angle view. The focus dial works smoothly. The compass feature is nice. Cons: The indicator marks for the range finder are blurry. I tried every angle and focus, glasses on/glasses off, bright light, low light and still I can't see the numbers clearly enough to read them. It might just be me. I returned it.
