Well made with such precision that they look like carbon copies. They are sturdy too. Excellent value!

These were much higher quality and better finished than I expected. The build quality is very good, with all the mitered edges meeting perfectly and the wood was nicely sanded to ensure no splinters. I'd buy again.

I haven't tried painting with them yet but I am so pleased that they arrived well packed and undamaged. Maybe that is because they were in a box with other things because their packaging is just cellophane wrapped in a bundle, but the cellophane was well taped with packing tape, so they were secure. Looking through the clear cellophane packaging, they look well made from the sides - nothing coming apart or chipped or damaged. I will say this: DO NOT expect that the wood painting surface to be 1/8 inch thick! More like 3/32nds, so pretty flimsy if you plan to put any pressure on the painting surface or carve into or sand it. I may change my review once I open and paint on these. I use a lot of mixed media and these are for practice so I'm not that concerned about surface irregularities, as long as none are cracked or broken. I have not actually opened the package to inspect the painting surfaces individually. You HAVE TO open the cellophane packaging if you are really going to closely inspect these - there is no other way. So if you find yours less than satisfactory, explain this when you go to return them. You'll have to repack them securely and pack well to return (cling wrap works good for keeping them together).

These are so great. Just need a light sanding. I wish it didn't have a cross grain but it's not a deal beaker. Can only see the grain when high glossed. Takes acrylic well. They even smell good like that woody fresh smell.

These are really nice for painting. I like that you can paint on either side or both sides. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is a thin layer of wood is peeling off the back of about half of these- making it impossible to use them for painting on that side.

excellent quality, hard to find size, great price

Nice solid cradle board. I've used 2 of them so far for mixed media art pieces and they took the gesso, paint, ink, paper, and medium well. It's a nice size that's hard to find in brick & mortar art shores in the area.

Worked great for watercolor paper. Packaged well and all in perfect shape.

These wooden cradle boards are amazing value for money. Well made and ready for all your art. The surface is hard which makes it perfect for stamping, flow art, collage, and mounting watercolours on. I will definitely buy again.

Quite light and thin - but suitable for my requirements. Initially I wasn't that impressed - but they do the job and ended up looking OK.

Light weight, lightly sanded, does not arrive prepped. There were a few flaws but as they were for use with collage it was not a big deal. If I were going to create sell I would not recommend. If they are for children or personal use where it is not a big deal they are adequate. I will not buy again for my needs they are not suitable.
