This footrest has been great. Very sturdy materials. I previously had one of the chunkier black plastic kinds of footrests, and this one is superior in the areas I was looking for. Can wiggle the angle just a little bit for blood flow, or apply stronger pressure to change the angle long-term. I love that the angle doesn't flip-flop when you don't want it to. The bumps on the top are the right size that they don't hurt when not wearing shoes. Colors are just right and match other computer products easily. Slides a little on carpet so I'll adjust the positioning a couple times a week, but at least it stays in place the full workday. It's compact enough for my limited floor area but spacious enough for my big feet :)

I'm short and my desk at work is not adjustable height, so I have to have my chair at max height to keep my arms level with the keyboard. This is perfect to get my feet up and have my knees at 90 degrees as well. I like that I can rest my feet flat or flex it back and forth for a little bit of movement. No setup required, just straight out of the box so that was nice too.

I ended up using it more as a stationary foot rest. It's hard to move up and down. It has non-slip grips but they still slide around. It's high quality though and the top part is comfortable on my feet.

I have spinal arthritis and need to keep my feet slightly elevated. It’s heavy enough not to slide about, but very sturdy so will hold up to lots of wear.

Mainly the pressure and pain are focused behind the knee at the edge of the seat. This footrest is the perfect solution and offers comfort while working and pain relief. I like the professional office looking style. Powder coated steel with a rubber surface. Works wearing shoes or going barefoot. It's a minimalistic style and works on carpet or hard surface floors. We purchased this one because all the other foot rests are plastic (which I hate) and they look like large children's toys under your desk. It's kind of a retro looking footrest, but I like to think of it as a classic design style. We bought one to try it out and ended up fighting over who gets to use it because it works so well. So, I'm here buying another one to save my marriage and improve company morale. :) Excellent investment in keeping yourself healthy and comfortable while sitting and working.

Pretty basic. It seems sturdy, it would be better if it had a way to lock it into a particular position.

I am very happy with this metal footrest. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it's so worth it! It will definitely last much longer than a hard plastic one, which I purchased initially and it broke not long after. This metal footrest will also provide more support than the foam type, which I purchased after the hard plastic one broke. I decided to purchase this metal one because I believed that not only would it provide the support that I was looking for, but it would also last a very long time because it's made of metal. It provides excellent support!

Unlike the carpeted, wooden versions of such essential footrests available to provide fully ergonomic setups to a home office desk, this metal and high quality rubber (?) footrest will not wear out and look scrappy for many years. It can be tilted to almost any angle required just with feet alone, without doing any manual adjustments using hand screws under the desk. The metal is also surprisingly light and it can be easily moved with just the pressure of the feet and legs to any position under the desk required. This would be especially useful for any older desk users who don't want to bend down or under the desk for any reason.
