Can NOT say enough good about this kit. I tow a 19ft enclosed aluminum trailer with tandem axles that has been crushing my 2013 Double Cab. Extremely harsh ride because suspension is bottomed on bumpers once trailer is lowered on hitch. This system has transformed the truck. So much cushier ride. Doesn't sag when trailer is attached. Even with 50lbs of air in bags, without trailer, it rides absolutely fine. Easy installation. I didn't cut off the jounce bumpers, I loosened the U bolts and removed the bumpers in case I wanted to go back to stock suspension, which I highly doubt! Oh, had to bend the parking brake brackets with a heavy screwdriver about a quarter of an inch to make kit fit. Also, my kit came with two fuel pump controler brackets. I doubled them up for a sturdier mount of the controler. This kit is the best investment I've made on my truck. Oh, and unless you do off roading? NO NEED for the Daystar cradles. They are only for when the suspension is crazy articulated when off road. No need for these for on road use.

I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra, pulling a 30' tow-behind camper. I also use a weight distribution hitch with sway control. The WD hitch was a significant Improvement, but still had some up and down oscillations. especially on hilly back roads. The extra support with the air bags allows for rear of the truck to operate at normal ride height and eliminated the up and down oscillations. My camper pushes the payload and tongue weight specs to the limit. But with the aforementioned enhancements, my half ton truck handles the tow load with no problems. Components are high quality. Performed the install on my garage floor in a few hours, no vehicle lift needed. Very pleased with this product. performs as expected and advertised.

Kit went on easy enough, works as expected and quality is there. I really only have one complaint and it’s me just being picky. The bracket the goes up to frame that the peg of airbag goes through is not thick enough so the peg hits the frame and has slight gap. I ended up taking it all back apart thinking I made an error installing it but after going step by step and double checking and I even looked at a buddies (his same way) I seen it’s just the way the bracket fits. Overall great product and I would buy again, really helped with leveling my truck out on heavy loads. I also made a modification to the setup. I installed air lines into a tee and just ran one line through license plate bracket so when I put air in both bags fill up at exact same pressure. Good setup, good quality and works as expected.

I can't believe how quick and easy this was to install on my 2015 Tundra Double Cab. It took me about an hour and a half to install with a couple of deep well sockets. I did not remove the rear tires or the spare as recommended and not once during the install did I ever wish I had. Other than the spare getting in my way a time or two as I was sliding out from under the truck I never knew it was there. The instructions recommend cutting the jounce bumpers off with a reciprocating saw, however, I simply loosed the u-bolts holding the rear leaf springs to the axle and I completely removed them. This way I can go back to stock if I ever wanted to (not that I would). I opted to buy a union tee so I only have one fill valve and one hole drilled in the truck. Doing this makes filling them quick and easy but I won't be able to compensate for an uneven load in the bed. Since I bought these for towing a travel trailer that part doesn't concern me. All the parts looked great and feel and appear to be very high quality, I am very happy with my purchase. This kit has greatly improved my towing experience. With my trailer fully loaded I tow around 6500lbs with 700lbs of tongue weight and with about 25lbs of air in the bags my ride is level and smooth with no more hitch bounce. I wanted to update my review to include something important that I left out. In regards to your weight distribution hitch; hitch your trailer up, inflate your airbags to the height you want, THEN adjust and setup the hitch. Not doing this properly can negate some or all of the effects of the weight distribution hitch and while it *looks* like it might be set up right or it might *look* like it's doing its job, its not.....and you could find yourself in a hard braking situation with little to no traction on the front tires. I have also settled on 20 PSI while towing and this is what my hitch is adjusted to. After it's all setup right your hitching process should be as before. Lightly rest the trailer on the ball, lock the hitch in place, put your weight distribution bars on, drop the trailer the rest of the way down onto your hitch, THEN inflate the bags. The first thing you should do when unhitching is deflate the bags.

Fit my 14 Tundra perfectly. My kit came with slow leak in the schrader valve, it was loose. Once fixed these have held pressure for weeks. If you suspect you have a leak just make a water/dishsoap mix and spray along the lines and valves until you find it. One thing to note, at 5lbs pressure I do not notice a difference in the ride of my truck. I keep them at 15lbs and the ride is slightly stiffer but my rear no longer sags and the truck has a more raked look. I have towed up to 6500lbs and these bags have made all the difference in handling.

I installed this Firestone Ride-rite kit on a 2017 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. I have a camper shell on the truck and at the minimum 5psi, it has leveled out the truck perfectly. I also tow both a light, 3100 lb camp trailer and 3000 lb boat. Previously, with either of these attached, the rear end sagged too much. This is what I really bought this kit for. Installation was easy, the instructions are very good to excellent. The parts kit was excellent too, it covered everything I needed. I did deviate from the instructions on one step, the cutting of the rubber bump stops. The rubber is very tough, good Toyota quality, so I loosened the U-bolts holding the axle to the leaf spring pack and removed the bump stops. Toyota recommends buying new U-bolts when these are removed. I chose not to and re-applied locking compound and re-torqued the nuts to 74 ft-lbs. I did have to loosen and bop the U-bolts into place with a dead blow hammer after I didn't get them aligned right the first time. The hardest part of the installation was the alignment of the upper plate and marking the lower plate. With the rear axle on jack stands, jacking the trailer hitch made this a lot easier on the passenger side. I also used a silver sharpie on the black mounting plate, black on black is too hard to see. I mounted the air valves on each side of the license plate lined up horizontally with the trailer connector and with the license plate removed, about 1-5/8 inches left and right from the big hole behind the license plate. Total time for the installation was about 5 hours, 3 for first (drivers) side and 2 for the 2nd.

Well designed and an easy install. Directions were clear and concise. Install, was a leisurely two hours. I've had these on my truck for nearly a year now. I have not noticed any leakage. After a 3 month period without use or checking they still held the minimum of 5psi. 60psi gives me the ability to carry a 1 ton pallet, of heating pellets.

Installed on 2014 Tundra Limited Crewmax. Very simple install. Instruction booklet was wrong but quick google search helped. Towed 5000lb trailer next day, held up pretty good. Highly recommend
