This makes smoking 'cool' again. Ha
What a great item for a smoker! I've been rolling my own (cowboys) for a while. Smokes are crazy expensive and rolling your own is way cheaper. Got the pouch and it's alright. Very stiff and color was very 'new' looking. When I bought it I had visions of a 100 year old pouch...haha. So I channeled my past 9 year old boy who just got a new baseball glove. Step one...soak in hot water until it's good and soaked. Step two ...beat the holy hell out of it. Twist, smash, throw and grind in dirt, cement and bricks. Step three...let it dry and wipe it off real well. Step four ...glove conditioner. Softens the leather and gives it a much darker better color. Use it unevenly to get lighter and darker patches. You're welcome!!! Haha. Now we have a worn out weathered cool ass pouch. The string should be thicker leather but all in all ..I really like it! Oh...and as for the drying out of your tobacco ....I just cut the bottom off a mylar bugler pouch. Stays fresh and fits perfectly. You're welcome again!!!

You wont find better
Buying a second one because my first one went missing under mysterious circumstances. I loved my pouch. Beautiful aesthetic and perfect function. I kept it in my pocket when grinding concrete and never had an issue with contamination. It perfectly fits a double book of bugler papers. I saw some complaints about tobacco drying out in it. You have to break it in. The fresh leather is thirsty. If you over saturate enough to pack it full, close it up tight, and place something on top for light pressure it will moisten the leather and help. After a month or so it balances out and adds a unique flavor to the tobacco, especially if you mix brands because theyll add more touches of flavor to the pouch. I had so many experimental batches that had seasoned my pouch and now its gone. Well worth the purchase

Works great for me
Keeps a small amount of tobacco and the papers in one compact, classy roll up. Still need to be careful about the tobacco getting dry, but nothing a few drops of water doesn't fix. Great to keep everything together. The pouch to hold the papers is a little small for the papers I like to use so I changed brands. Leather is still a little stiff at first but it is getting softer.

Good pouch with a little help
I took note of other reviews before purchase so had a few expectations. I did find that the tobacco would dry out very quickly, and the little pocket for papers was, well, too little. However, the bag itself is very sturdy and I like the size (not too big for my pants pocket). So, to remedy the drying issue (as well as to generally condition the leather anyway) I treated the bag inside and out with mink oil several times. The tobacco still dries faster than if it were in plastic (of course!), but it stays moist enough for two days (which is about all the tobacco I can fit in anyway). I keep my papers and filters in the inner pocket, so the "papers pocket" is useless but it all works out anyway. In the end, it's not a perfect pouch but I'm happy with it. After treating with mink oil it's really a handsome fella and I expect it to last me many, many years.

RIP Baccy Pouch
Buying my second one after owning one for 6 years. Unfortunately, I lost it. There was nothing wrong with it. In fact, the quality and aesthetic of the leather only got better the more it aged. It has sufficient capacity to hold a day's worth of consumption (depending on smoking rate). The only issue I would point out is that if you put the tobacco loose in the pouch, it will get dry. What worked for me was putting an old bag of tobacco that I cut the lid off of and storing the tobacco in there. I would also only suggest storing enough tobacco for one day; otherwise, it will get dry quickly. RIP baccy pouch, you will be missed. 6 years of memories with you that will never be forgotten and countless compliments that I will always cherish.

Great craftsmanship, a few issues, great potential. Drys tobacco though.
This product is actually pretty cool, a little old school, a little hipsterish but it has great potential. The only issue is it drys out the tobacco. Iโve heard old timers using apple slices in their tobacco pouch to keep the moisture in, instead i think Iโm gonna try to use terra cotta moisture stones. They work well in mason jars to keep it moist so why not. Every one is complaining that this pouch can only handle a little bit of tobacco at a time, this isnโt used to keep ALL tobacco in there, think of it as a day pouch for your tobacco. And the slot for your papers take them out of the box and put them in there that way, works great!!!!! Probably gonna remove the inner liner and add a larger liner and glue it to both sides i keep my filters in a small plastic bag so no issue.

Five year review
After FIVE years of daily use, this pouch shows no signs of wear. I ordered the light brown color and it was very light and not what I expected but after a few weeks of use it started to develop a nice patina and now looks like this.

Review after 1 year using!!
I bought the brown one last year and the quality is so good. Been using for over a year and it's still going great. The tobacco inside remains moist all the time. It doesn't dried up. The pouch leather was hard in the beginning but it gets softer after a few months using. If you buy 50gm tobacco, it will not fit altogether in the pouch, 1/2 will be too much, 1/4 is perfect. It's very convenient if you're wearing jeans the pouch's 3/4th portion will easily go into your back pocket other 1/4th will remain visible. I bought the brown one because it's the only one that has the double window for the rolling papers. I am satisfied with the pouch. I would have bought another extra pouch in different colors if they had double window for rolling paper. Great find!!
