Great mind game
A really good puzzle that entertained my grandchildren from the age of 5 to 12. They couldn’t put them down. Say for hours figuring them out.

Amazing, addictive. I want more.
I kept seeing these on various social media reels and thought my daughter and myself would like them but though they might be a bit rubbish and poor quality. I was reluctant to pay for the more expensive ones but the cheap ones wouldn't arrive in time so I ordered 2. I was so wrong, we both love them. They are really good quality, well made and change shapes smoothly. They are magnetic and hold their shape. The stickers are well stuck on. They don't rattle as if there is something loose inside them when shook. I did think they were a bit small, I'd expected bigger but they are the perfect size to comfortably rotate, any bigger might be uncomfortable to hold. (Don't be fooled by cheaper ones as I've just bought some to try and they are very different to these. Loose magnets inside so don't hold shape, stickers are only thing holding them together and they came off after a day of playing with them, very clunky and noisy when moving so I asked for a full refund. ) These have been played with none stop since Christmas day and passed around different family and friends, children have had a go and still look as good as new. They might seem expensive at first but they have been worth it. I did get them at a reduced price of £17.99. I would definitely buy more as they attach together to make loads of different shapes so I can't wait to see what we can make with 3 or 4 of them.

Fascinating, Slightly Confusing… and Now I Want One
I bought the Shashibo Shape Shifting Box for my nephew, thinking it would be a quick distraction toy. What I didn’t expect was to spend a solid 20 minutes trying to figure it out myself while he patiently explained how it works. This thing is surprisingly addictive. It transforms into loads of different shapes, and once you get the hang of it, it’s genuinely satisfying to flip and fold into new designs. My nephew took to it quickly and now carries it around like some kind of pocket-sized puzzle wizard. The magnets feel strong and the construction is sturdy enough to survive enthusiastic hands. It’s compact, doesn’t require batteries (a huge win), and actually encourages problem-solving rather than just flashing lights and noise. That said, there is a slight learning curve. I definitely needed a moment (or several) to understand how to create the more complex shapes. There may have been some “I meant to do that” moments. Pros: ✔ Genuinely engaging and interactive ✔ Encourages creativity and problem-solving ✔ Strong magnets and solid build ✔ Compact and easy to carry ✔ No batteries required (parents rejoice) Cons: ✖ Slight learning curve at first ✖ May result in adults “borrowing” it Overall, this was a great gift choice. It kept my nephew entertained — and briefly humbled his uncle. A fun and slightly brain-twisting 4-star toy that’s much more interesting than it first appears.

Great fidget toy/puzzle
Maybe I'm easily pleased but I love this thing. It gets rearranged on at least a daily basis, never gets old. Now I want more for more complex shapes.

Mesmerizing & Addictive – A Must-Have Fidget Toy!
The Shashibo Shape Shifting Box is hands down one of the coolest and most addictive fidget toys I’ve ever tried! The 36 rare earth magnets allow it to transform into over 70 shapes, keeping my hands and mind engaged for hours. It’s fun, relaxing, and creatively stimulating – perfect for both kids (8+) and adults! Pros: ✅ Endless Transformations – The number of shapes you can create is mind-blowing! It’s challenging yet satisfying. ✅ High-Quality Build – Made with durable plastic, tear-proof surfaces, and strong magnets for smooth shape-shifting. ✅ Mesmerizing Artwork – The vibrant, artistic patterns make it a joy to manipulate and display. ✅ STEM-Friendly & Brain-Boosting – Great for improving spatial awareness, problem-solving, and creativity. ✅ Stress-Relieving & Addictive – The tactile feel and satisfying clicks make it a fantastic fidget toy for stress relief. ✅ Collect & Connect – You can combine multiple Shashibo cubes to build even larger structures! Cons: ❌ Not for Young Kids – Due to small magnets, it’s not suitable for children under 8 years old. ❌ Can Be Tricky at First – There’s a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s incredibly fun! Final Verdict: The Shashibo Cube is a fantastic mix of a fidget toy, brain teaser, and creative puzzle all in one. Whether you’re looking for a stress reliever, a unique gift, or a fun challenge, this is an absolute must-have! Highly recommended!

Overpriced. Fun for a very short period of time. Maybe ok for very young children.
I must admit I was very excited about this cube. I bought two of them! I believed the hype and positive reviews. I ended up given them as a present to a 6 year old child. She will start learning geometry and math soon and I thought she might benefit from these toys. The material used is kind of cardboard/paper and like other people have mentioned the longevity of these toys can’t be very long. The quality of printing and design/patterns used are ok, nothing especial or beautiful about them. Fast delivery that’s true. About the puzzles/shapes: the magnets are strong and I can understand why people love playing with them, it’s oddly satisfying. Feels good to manipulate. Level of difficulty? Well, I am honest and describe only my own experience: Low. I am average I think. But these cubes and basic shapes and more you can achieve them intuitively in less than 30 min and I am kind of exaggerating and being generous… 10-15 minutes is all you need. Return it to the original cube shape is really EASY and straight forward too. Yes you could collect them and make more shapes… but is it worthy? I am not sure, too expensive for a very limited toy. I don’t even consider these puzzles to be completely honest. I love my Rubik cubes and never get tired of them, I love some more than others of course. And I have invested in good ones too. That’s far more fun and would recommend Rubik over this cube. Trust me I was excited about the 3D cube… such a shame! EDIT: I am delighted… I can’t believe how successful these toys are among children. I will buy it again for other kids. After observing how different children play with them I can confirm the size and the materials used are more than adequate. Difficulty level is also perfect for children, this cube invites them to try and generate geometrical shapes easily, it ignites their imagination that’s for sure! They can compete with each other, they can collect them, they can learn and study the different shapes. I am really impressed. I would say kids 5-10 years old would be fascinated by these cubes and they will feel they can achieve these little goals. Not bad after all. Still these toys are very overpriced for what they are… but we all know how pricing works, once this trend/marketing starts to disappear they will have to lower the price. It’s ridiculous… as a consumer it really annoys me.
