What is the weight limit per cord/hook?

The Minirail bears 55 pounds per yard of rail, and the smartspring hook can hold 10 pounds, so 2 smartsprings on 1 cord can hold 10 pounds each smartspring, or 20 pounds total. Heavier pieces will need more hooks and cords to distribute the weight. As long as you keep in mind the 55 pounds per yard for the rail and the 10 pounds per smartspring hook then you will not have any problems regarding weight capacity. Our other hook, the zipper hook (sold separately, not included in this kit), can hold 33 pounds when used with the perlon cord.

Can the rail be hung on an angled wall (30deg) or must it be horizontal?

If you mean the rail will be at an angle of 30 degrees on a vertical wall the top of the vertical hangers may slip in the rail. I have used one in a library, but the rail was horizontal.

Your rail kit should have included a copy of your packing slip, installation instructions, drilling template, and answers to FAQs, all wrapped the the rail kit. if you need more space can you purchase additional rail - does it come with connector?

Yes, each rail comes with a connector so you can join them together to have longer lengths, you can also cut them down with a hacksaw. This way you can custom fit your wall.
