Classic Bonded Dual-Layer Filter Pad/Floss for Ponds and Aquariums - Cut to Fit 12x72 - Blue/White

I use this filter for a paint booth return. I have a hose from my paint booth to a 5-gal bucket, 1/3 full of water to trap the paint and lacquer fumes. I drilled holes in the bucket lid and taped the filter to the bottom. I have enough filter to do this two more times. This works very well, having to airbrush models in a bedroom.

This filter is great. I like that it's layered, and well made. It works well in my pond bio-filter-and is just the right size.

The filter pad has two distinct layers that help filter out different sized particles. I suggest using rubber bands to secure it to the filter. Easy to cut and size to exactly what you need. Great product.

Works perfect in my pond filter

I didn't purchase this to use within an aquatic system, but instead in a homemade fountain topped off with stones. The stones were letting small debris through which in turn would block the pump and stop the flow and the local dogs love to drink from it. Having cut this to size and placed under the stones, the flow just keeps on going and I know there's far less solid waste in there to impede the flow or the doggie drinking experience. I've experience within the Aquatic industry and see no reason why this wouldn't work just fine in a pond/other filter.

I use in my fish tank sump pump, works great to remove food particles and debris.

Like this because you can cut what sizes you need. It is pretty thin but actually still filters really well. I have sponge type filters that are many inches thick but there are so many porous holes that I don't think it captures all the small stuff. This filter material on the other hand does a good job at that, and it is very easy to rinse off and use again and again. It's good because it has a coarse side and a softer side. I definitely noticed an improvement in my water, just from having it place in the pond in one of those filter kits without having a pump hooked up to it and it still worked. It is just annoying taking the filter boxes out of the water because tons of sludge and dirty water pours out very quickly. Also this turn out to be great for planting pond plants - if you have those pond baskets that are lined with holes, you can use this filter material to wrap around on the inside to help keep dirt from plants from getting in the pond water - I still put rocks in behind the filter sponge material. It's a life saver though because before having this, I had to fill the pond plant baskets with tons of little and large rocks. Having this material inbetween the basket and rocks works well, and filters the water at the same time.

Best quality than other thin filter. It will last long. Easy to flush clean

This is such a big roll for an amazing price! Not only can you put this inside your filter but you can also wrap a piece and secure it onto your filter's intake to prevent large particles from getting sucked up into your filter and causing blockages. Highly recommend, especially to those who have multiple tanks and filters.

You can cut pieces different size to fit your filter. Work like a charm.last a long time this is the second time I bought it and it last like a year last time.
