This is a great set of Chip brushes. I used it to drag paint with glitter on my backsplash in my kitchen, and it was so easy to use, and it worked very well. Great value, as the set costs about the same as one brush here locally. There were a few different sizes, so it helped brushing in smaller spaces. Clean up was easy; I just tossed them away, but I'm sure you can clean them and use them again if you like.

Chip brushes are just chip brushes - not fancy, but really handy. I saw I was almost out and tagged these on an order to get up to free shipping, but I did need them. In my shop, I put a row of screws along a cabinet door above my bench, where I hang a row of these brushes for various lubricants, penetrants, oil, etc. I letter the material on the handles with a sharpie pen and have found that I use this system often and it's very handy (and saves getting out and wasting a new brush for every application). Chip brushes are a great tool for any use where an occasional hair coming out of the brush isn't a problem.

5 in a pack is good value and the brushes are decent quality. I use them for painting, dusting and brushing for grill and fireplace.

Ok for a throw away brush

This is a great value and should last awhile, I use these to apply fiberglass for small repairs, I cut the matting to size, mix up the resin with a stick and then brush it on, I then stick the matting to it and brush more on, and the brush has done its job and is tossed out, but I reuse the stick.

Call me Norman, cause I’m crazy about these Bates brushes! Always good to buy in bulk. Bates is best, that’s what I always say.

I realize these are considered “chip” brushes, but I was disappointed with these Bates brushes. I have used Bates brushes previously and they are high quality and perform very well. In fact, I use them on a regular basis. The chip brushes appear to cheaply made, poorly glued and bristles were coming out of the ferrule at a high rate. The bristles were cut irregularly and looked like crap. These may work for chip brushes, but I’d be wary.

I found a great use for these brushes in applying penetrating epoxy to my wood slabs. These brushes allow for quick applications and cleanup within a budget.

I can’t say enough about how great these brushes are useful for so many things I lov lov them for cutting in to the corners of the walls that I’m painting the only way to improve on this item is to cut the top part of the handle down and put some in the box so you have another option but they are an amazing brush is light weight easy to push strokes are good as well thanks to the manufacturer great value just saying 😊🇨🇦

These brushes are awesome for doing foliage and grass. I gave it 4 stars because you have to watch while painting because bristles fall out and get stuck in your painting. I would definitely buy these again. The price is right! The results you get with your painting, awesome! Ty
