After so many years borrowing other technicians in shops I never ever bought my own. I finally wanted to get my own for a water pump job and this type is so good. It has a built in valve in the neck to help with no spill when you are done and can always salvage coolant to put into the reserve or back into the jug. Adapters felt good and sealed nicely on my Fj cruiser radiator with no leaks. Rubber cap included is great for storing all the pieces within itself. Nothing felt too cheap where it would break if taken care of. Definitely recommended especially for sub $20. A+ for making my service at home that much easier and cleaner.

This is the best and most functional tool i have ever used. Very easy to use. Well worth the money. It bleeds the air out of the system while you are filling the system.

This works well. It could have been me but at the connection that goes to the cap when the reservoir burped it did spill a little. Probably my fault. It made it easy to full and it a very nice kit. Love the color. Price was great alot of the others cost lot more. Easy to use and assembly. Happy with the purchase.

This coolant funnel kit was a lifesaver for my '06 Scion tC. I used the "C" adapter and its matching metal cap, and it created a tight seal with no real mess. Getting the air bubbles out of the system was easy, and I loved being able to pour the leftover coolant right back into the bottle. Just be careful when you remove the funnel, as it will drip a bit from the tube; I used some paper towels around the opening to catch it. The included instructions could be better, so I'd recommend a quick YouTube guide for the gist of the process of burping.. But for safety, always make sure the engine is cool before opening the radiator cap to avoid serious burns. Here’s a quick rundown on how to put the kit itself together: Choose the correct adapter for your car's radiator opening (the letters on the pieces match the instructions). Insert the adapter into the opening, threads facing up. Attach the funnel to the adapter's neck. Screw the black locking nut onto the threads to secure it. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it for anyone doing a little DIY coolant work. No warping after letting it sit with the car running to burp it. Lid fits well on the funnel for transporting leftover liquid. Nice product and build quality!

Used this item on a 2001 Toyota Corolla and it worked flawlessly. I loved the funnel shutoff valve as opposed to using a plug as on other brands. Instructions are minimal. Make sure to use an adaptor that compresses slightly when the provided cap is installed. I had zero spillage. The cleanest coolant job I have ever performed.

I used this kit to flush my coolant system and bleed the air from the cooling system for my Infiniti G35. The G35 is known to be hard to bleed the air from the coolant system and this kit made it easy, it just took a bit of time. The instructions are very basic and lacking. I threw them away when I first got the product but when I used the product I just kind of figured it out as I went. You stick in the orange piece in to your radiator (G35 uses the "B" orange piece) after removing the OEM cap and then put the rubber gasket on top. Then put the matching metal "B" bracket/cap piece on top of the orange piece and then twist it shut. It should shut tight with the rubber gasket. Then screw the funnel piece on top. Very sturdy when assembled correctly. Took me a bit to figure out how to assemble it correctly. To bleed the air I just filled the funnel with about 1/4 full of coolant and then started the car. I let it warm up/idle while turning the heater on 90 degrees (max temp) and either half or full fan speed. The heater is a good gauge/indicator of if you have air in your cooling system. It will blow ambient temp air while there is still air in your system but will turn hot when you purge all the air out. I let it warm up then revved it up to about 3k for ten to twenty seconds at a time every once in a while. Make sure to watch the funnel through the gap in your hood while revving it up because it will start to rise and you don't want it to boil over and get boiling coolant everywhere. When it started climbing too close towards the top, I let off the accelerator. I had to shut off the car a couple times when I revved it too much and almost made it boil over. Occasionally I would squeeze the upper and lower thick radiator hoses about ten times to help purge the air out. At first my lower radiator hose was cool to the touch but as I purged more air out it became hot like it should be. Wear gloves and some safety glasses while doing this whole process because you don't want to get boiling coolant in your eyes and use common sense (aka don't take off the funnel assembly while it's boiling hot, don't taste the coolant, etc.) Took about an hour or so to get it completely purged.

Took me a while to put this to use, but it is a ton easier to use this than the old funnel-fill, run, funnel-fill, run rigamarole. It also took me a while to figure out how the pieces work in different radiator and/or filler necks. But it does work on '01 Durango, '04 Grand Cherokee, '06 CR-V, '09 Toyota Venza, '92 Acura Vigor, to name a few. The shut-off valve is the cat's meow. A LOT less wasted - expensive - coolant. It's nice that all the pieces - when not is use - fit inside the reservoir, and the reservoir can be hung up in the garage.

This coolant funnel has many different uses. I use it to mix chemicals and then dispense into spray bottles and other storage containers. I initially bought it to fill my diesel heater inside the motorhome which is awkward to fill without spilling diesel everywhere. It works great for that purpose and it’s very easy to shut off once you can see that the container is almost full. I now use it to fill the mower with petrol and the generator with oil. The handy attachments include an offset attachment that can get into hard to reach areas. I will probably buy a little piece of clear tubing and attach it to one of the attachments to make life even easier. It has markings on the side up to 2.3 L which is very handy for knowing how much fuel you have dispensed the wide diameter on the funnel also means it’s virtually impossible to spill fuel from the Jerry can when pouring into the funnel. I might even use it to fill the radiator with coolant one day!

Saw some reviews that this did not fit a honda. Fortunately I ignored those reviews and gave this item a try. Worked fantastic and fit perfectly. Made changing the coolant in my honda fit an easy side job while I was changing the oil. I would definitely recommend this.
