Solid but suuuper heavy compare to other brands. No issue at all, we using as a protection against the sun, but belive me is like carry 1 kg sugar in your bag. 3 start because to heavy

i always walk during the day at a time when the sun is at its strongest. Using a regular umbrella just wasn't cutting it, i still got tans after walking with my regular umbrella in the sun, so i looked into umbrellas with uv protection and found this one. i absolutely love it, the umbrella is opaque you cant see through it and the suns rays are completely blocked. love this umbrella, this is a great buy.

Acabo de recibirlo por eso no le doy 5 estrellas, pero, la única y primer cosa que me ha saltado es que al abrirlo, se abre hacia afuera, tengo que estar volteándolo, y si eso hago en la calle cuando está lloviendo pues ya me mojé :S , no se si a todos los que lo compraron les pasó lo mismo.

I got this because I like to take walks every day but I have lupus so the sun is my enemy. I hadn't used it for a long time as I usually walk very early and wear a huge hat. Well I just got through a huge flare and am even more sun sensitive now so the hat was no longer cutting it on its own with sunblock. I started using this umbrella and it's GREAT. Pretty sturdy unless there's some wind. Seemingly not any worse than an ordinary umbrella. In that case I just grab the edge to stabilize it. Does it's job against the sun. Great pink color. Can't remember which size I got while writing this but it's enough for one person while still being light enough to carry for five miles. Doesn't feel any heavier than my regular umbrella. The only drawback is that it's very hard for someone with little muscle strength to close. I have to push it against something to get it to fully click closed. But I don't really mind that. No weird smell. Would buy again. Very happy with this purchase.

It really fits well in a handbag but it's a little hardto close.
