I bought this to replace the light in a ceiling fan that had stopped working, and it fit well. The brightness is clear and the installation was straightforward. It works as expected and solved the problem

My ceiling fan light had blown. It’s an older ceiling fan. My son installed these very quickly and they were great. They did beautifully and produce great lighting. I have not tried any any of the other options.

We have minkaAire Light Wave Fan. Model Number F844. The light started flickering and we searched online for a replacement and even contacted the minkaAire and they told us we need to contact the dealer. Unfortunately, its not easy to get a light replacement and not easy to locate a dealer, and even if you find one, it is VERY expensive. So bought this product to try it out. Getting off the Light assembly cover was little tricky, we had to hold the base metal piece with a plier and pull the plastic cover; without that it was difficult to take out the cover as there's no place to hold the base and pull the cover. Once the cover was out, we cut the wire of the old LED light from it's base, and simply twisted the new LED wires to it (after cutting the length little short), and wrapped with electrical tape. And it worked great, initially it looked quite dim. One thing we didn't realize is that this is a dimmable LED light, and we were the second owner of the minkaAire Light Wave Fan. Keep pressing the light button for longer will adjust the dimmability and then was bright a we had expected. It;s been more than a month now, and the LED light has performed well, and saved us lot of money, since we didn't had to buy the entire light assembly. Works well easy install caution HOT! extremely HOT gets extremely hot when in operation, you will burn your fingers if you grab the metal edges after its been on. take care when wiring the unit in to ensure that any components are safely away from the metal back it gets quiet hot and melted the start capacitor on my ceiling fan (my fault installation error) but is noteworthy LEDs make a lot of heat and this is to be expected I am slightly concerned that the high operating temp will shorten the life but time will tell

This is just what we needed. I was worried when I installed our ceiling fan a few years ago and saw it had such a specialty bulb. The brand on our remote says Fanimation so I wasn't sure I would ever find a replacement bulb. Well, this one did the trick, and best of all is that our old bulb was very cold, but this one is warm in tone. It's also much brighter than the original bulb and works will with the fan's built in dimmer.

Great product with easy installation. When the light went out in my Harbor Breeze fan, I thought I would need an electrician. Oh woe is me! Big buck$$$$. I'm not that handy with such things, but I decided to look into DIY first. The Harbor Breeze website was no help at all for finding the needed replacement part, nor how to install it. Then, once more, I had the big "Ah Hah" that never seems to occur to me first in these quandaries -- duh! -- try Amazon. And, bingo, again, there it was-- just the part I needed. There must have been dozens of similar offerings, but, in terms of matching the size and wattage of my dead lamp, this Ledytech 4 inch Retrofit Light Kit caught my eye, and the reviews were encouraging. This turned out to be a great choice. The clever solution of including small magnets to attach this light kit to the fan housing made installation a breeze and will help this unit work magically in a wide variety of fans by avoiding the whole issue of having to fit the mounting screw patterns of different ceiling fans. Genius stuff. Everything you need is included. As a bonus, the light is much brighter than the original version, and . . . tah-dah! . . . it works with my Harbor Breeze remote as well! So, yeah, I'm happy. You will be, too. Take it from a DIY doofus.

I’m very happy with this lightbulb, I got a ceiling fan with an LED light for my kitchen and the light bulb was just not doing enough so I found this replacement. It’s extra bright and it does a great job. I’m so happy now.

Product was exactly what I was looking for to retrofit my ceiling fans dull screw in bulb.
