Kensington MagPro Elite Magnetic Privacy Screen for MacBook Pro 16” M1/M2 2021 & Newer (K58371WW)

Im a med student so i use this alot in public. People always comment why im looking at a blank screen. Makes you wonder how much people look at what your doing! Screen is really great, it does lift on my occasionally at the bottom, esp if my screen is more vertical. Bothered me at first but its not enough to make me complain. Still give it 5 star because it functions great and i can take it off easily and quickly when needed or when doing group work/pt care and people need to see my screen. Id say good value for the cost but if that lower part stayed on itd be perfect. (2023 mac book air).

This is a great product, but I do think it’s a bit overpriced. The quality is great and I love the fact that I was able to get rid of the glare while using my MacBook Pro in my home office that has windows behind me. It was very easy to install, once I turned out how to add the adhesive pieces. The fact that it’s mostly magnetic is great, but it won’t work right without securing the bottom with the adhesive parts.

I never used a privacy screen. Since I got a new MACbook, I wanted to ensure it worked with the slimmer design. This was the only one available at the Apple store and I found it better priced on amazon. It attaches with a simple magnet. It doesn't interfere with the keys. It works for privacy. On the negative side: Occasionally my screen dims so I know in closing it is touching the keys. Not a big deal to enhance the brightness. It attracts finderprints - big time - so always needs a clean. Lastly It does somewhat dim the brightness in general since you are looking through another screen cover. The distortion is minimal. Forgot to add - I did not use the bottom magnets. I read enough in the reviews to know that if you use the bottom magnets it can be a pain to get it off easy. Overall - This product does the job and exactly what it says! That's a win.

Very clear seeing straight on and some clear viewing from the side. If you need total blocking from a business standpoint, this may not be the screen for you. It is easy to put up, it stays at the top half of screen, but it often is not adhered to the screen toward the bottom half, so I normally have to swipe it down. I can see some from the sides but it's a little blurred. It's obscured on the half furthest away from the side I'm looking at, but I can still see the half closest to me. If someone has a camera and can zoom in, they probably could still make out what's on the screen at certain angles. I didn't test it, but I have looked at the screen from the side.

Works beautifully. Hard to tell the screen has the film on. The film has a thin magnetic strip at the top that firmly clings to the screen. The strip doesn’t block one’s view of the screen’s content - it is very narrow - and it doesn’t scratch the screen since the strip seems to be padded with something soft. Also, the screen is as thin or thinner than the small rubber edge that outlines the Mac’s screen. I like that it’s a firm hold that can be pulled away but doesn’t slip down at all from the top or fall off. Also nice to see it has a matte and glossy side. I wish the bottom had small magnetic pieces in the corner. The bottom corners do benefit from tiny, thin, included tabs. But, I don’t leave the tabs on and the screen stays on flat when the matte side is facing me.

Nice quality and It does not make me feel dizzy like many other privacy screen, works well in term of privacy. Stay clear. easy to install and fit well. Not too thick.

Best privacy screen out there! I first tried an off-brand version that had lots of very good reviews, but I found 1) it wasn’t as thin; 2) it didn’t provide thorough privacy the way the Kensington does; and 3) the Kensington is thinner than the off-brand version, which makes it easier to shut your laptop with the Kensington screen in a pinch without having a larger open space. This is worth the extra cost IMO

I wanted to buy something that apple approves and wouldn't ruin my apple screen and also protect it. I don't really care about the privacy part but at 30 degrees, it's still not private, whoever is next to me won't be able to read but will definitely see what I'm watching. Also, the glassy side already has my finger prints on it and it's not easy to clean. It's definitely not gonna protect my apple screen from any scratches too. But I guess it's better than using glass or adhesive screens. and it kind of adds blurriness and dims the screen

Écran indispensable pour toute les personnes qui travaille dans le train ou l’avion, permet de rendre sombre et flou l’écran pour les personnes qui ne sont pas en face. Les couleurs sont bien conservé. L’écran dispose de 2 faces une mat et une brillante, je trouve personnellement que le côté brillant fonctionne mieux. L’installation avec le système d’aimants est très simple.

It is very good but affect the quality of MacBook screen

no warranty support in India. mine is not sticking anymore and when reached out for warranty, the company is saying that it has warranty support in US only.

Das Produkt ist an sich empfehlenswert. Ich bin im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden. Es verspricht was es hält in Bezug auf den Blickwinkel von 30°. Sitzt man etwas schräger, verdunkelt sich der Bildschirm allmählich. Ich musste die Helligkeit von meinem Bildschirm um eine Stufe heller machen, weil ich ihn sonst bei Tageslicht sehr dunkel empfand. Dies ist auch logisch, wenn man sich das Produkt anschaut, was von sich aus schon leicht verdunkelt ist. Auch die Wahl zwischen matter und die glänzender Seite finde ich top, wodurch man je nach Gewohnheit für sich entscheiden kann. Was aber auf jeden Fall noch wünschenswert wäre, ist ein Magnetstreifen auch an der unteren Bildschirmleiste. Da dieser Fehlt, bringt er zwei Nachteile mit sich. Der Erste wird jedes Mal beim Zuklappen sichtbar. Wenn man seinen Laptop nicht gerade geschwind schließt, fächert die Sichtschutzfolie unten auf, bleibt aber dennoch oben haften. Das zweite Problem ist, dass man beim Putzen aufpassen muss, dass in die untere Leiste keine Feuchtigkeit eindringt. Ich putze mit Glas-Reiniger und sprühe einmal in die Mitte des Bildschirmes mit einem breiten Sprühstrahl. Dennoch muss ich hin und wieder mal die Folie hochklappen, um die Feuchtigkeit darunter aufzuwischen. Auch wenn das Nachteile sind, mit denen man zurechtkommen lernt, wäre das alles doch mit einem beidseitigen Magneten vermeidbar. Nebenbei bemerkt ist ein dickes Plus, dass ich seit der Folie meinen Bildschirm aber nicht mehr so häufig putzen muss, wie vorher. Und wenn, dann halt vorsichtig.
