F9 (F9: The Fast Saga)

I really enjoyed watching F9: The Fast Saga. The movie is full of exciting action, fast cars, intense scenes, and the strong family theme that makes the Fast & Furious movies so popular. The story keeps you entertained from beginning to end, and the car stunts are very impressive. This is a great movie for anyone who enjoys action, racing, adventure, and high-energy entertainment. I am very happy with this movie and would recommend it to fans of the Fast & Furious franchise.

I in no way take these movies seriously. They are garbage cinema. That being said, I watch every single one of them just for the entertainment and comedy that comes with how overly absurd they get. If picking bad movies apart and making fun how absolutely over the top they get is your thing, the FF series is definitely for you. Oh, and I guess they are good if you like hearing the word "family" 75 times in each movie too.

Yes, ridiculous, insane and impossible, and a long way from ripping off DVD players, lol, to now a crew of James Bond wannabees. BUT, family is still family, and although the level of affection might be wearing a tad thin, it's still there, and they do a fine job here of wrapping together all of the previous films, albeit with heaps of convenient plot putty that make about as much sense as a Pontiac Fiero in space. But the key question, is it worth a watch? If you just ignore reality, and strap in for the ride, yes. Most of our beloved characters are back, even though they are looking a bit worse for wear in some cases, and it's the familiar hijinks and heart. I wound up enjoying it, but I've been okay with the increasing distance from common sense as the franchise has progressed, so this was just another step beyond, but with a cast I very much like. A common joke has been, what's next, F&F in space??!! Well, now that's been done, so maybe Mars is next, or fighting interdimensional aliens? A good popcorn flick here, if you're a fan.

As a huge fan of the Fast & Furious franchise, this latest installment delivers everything you love about the series—fast cars, explosive action, epic stunts, and a little bit of family drama.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a diehard Fast & Furious fan. I owned the soundtrack to the first movie, the movie itself, and had a major crush on Brian and Dom. I've watched and rewatched it so many times that I can recite many lines by heart. The two main stars had such incredible chemistry, and the film just had a great story with action and heart. It was about the people, even more than the cars. It didn't overrely on expensive special effects and action sequences. It felt as authentic as Dom. That's what made it special. And that's why I was so disappointed with some of the immediate sequels (don't even get me started on Tokyo Drift), which dragged the series' name through the mud. I was thrilled when there was finally a reboot worthy of the original that reunited the beloved original cast members. However, what made these films so special was Brian's friendship with Dom and love of Mia. Since the untimely and tragic death of Paul Walker, the films have just lost their heart. The feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson didn't help either as The Rock acted a good element of fun to the films as did Jason Statham. But what we've seen by offshoot films like Hobbs & Shaw (how could a film with two talented actors be so dreadfully bad), is that is was Brian, Dom, and Mia that were the heart of the Fast and Furious. Without them, it just doesn't work. You can add tangential characters who orbit around them, but they're at the core. John Cena is just no replacement for Paul Walker, The Rock, or Jason Statham. He was a great wrestler but a really terrible, monotone actor who just brings everything down. He has zero chemistry with the rest of the cast and it is not believable at all that he is Dom and Mia's brother who no one ever talked about the entire series despite Dom's strong focus on family. That writing was just completely inconsistent with the character building of the past films. All this to say that I worry that Fast and the Furious should either get back to its roots and stop adding extraneous cast members just because OR it should quit while it's ahead.

This is a fun, action packed and genuinely enjoyable addition to the Fast and Furious saga! Yes, some of the action is utterly preposterous, for example, unless Ludicrous had impossibly advanced attraction technology attached to his vehicle' tires, he would have died in that early 'I think it is a bridge!' scene & both Vin Diesel and John Cena would have become brain dead from the cranial trauma they inflicted on each other not to mention the nature of the space scenes) but as a daft, tounge in cheek action movie it's up there with the Brendon Frasier Mummy trilogy and the Indiana Jones films. I get it, they have taken the series so ridiculously far from the down to earth and very believable settings it started out with, so in that sense, I can feel why so many ppl didn't jam with this film. However, taken for what the film is, a hyper charged, daft but extremely fun action extravaganza, it's a lot of fun.

I love the entire F&F franchise. I was a little disappointed. Seems to be getting a little far fetched with story lines now. Still worth a watch especially if you love the rest.

evicemment le manque de johnson se voit qq cameo sympas dt celui de lucas black dommage pas assez long son retour c qq scenes le retour de han mais ss gisele! le film est assez plaisant mais il est moindre en qualité qd meme qq scenes too much faut qd meme le voir c marrant vivement les 2derniers une scene a la fin qui donne le retour de jason st. et un inconnu en voiture bleue (paul ou ses freres) john cena n est pas si mauvais mais javoue c pas un acteur ca se sent il est en dessous de jason momoa qui lui meme est un peu en dessous de dethe rock le +sympa de la bande ds ses films. sinon il assure ce quon lui demande. pas de fils de clint dedans et on voit qd meme un peu kurt russell le bluray est bien son image ok. qq bonus corrects sauf le betisier tres bof. moi jai passé qd meme un bon moment c ce quon demande aux fast!
