These will get the job done
There's nothing special about these. They're normal DB9 connectors for a decent price. A bit finnicky to assemble, but they work fine.

Well constructed
For the price they serve all my needs and more.

Quality of solder cups not great.
I like this kit but the connectors themselves are cheap and the quality of the solder cups is not great. Also these things start melting if your not fast at soldering. If it starts to melt the pins will move on the male connectors.

Junk
Too late to return. Used these for motor connectors on CNC plasma table project. The pins break at the solder cups under any strain at all. The pins push back when the connectors are mated. Pure junk and a terrible waste of time. Would not buy again. Delayed project awaiting new quality connectors.
