This saw is a tremendous bargain. It's a current built version of when saws were simple. Very good build quality. A nice replacement for my original one built in the 90s. Seriously this saw is good.

Was somewhat skeptical. Generally only use big name saws. After first start all restarts are one pull only. I used Stihl’s (complicated) standard carburetor tuning method on it, which was necessary for 6000 feet elevation. Tuned easily. Started up before tune and ran fine without but was way rich. I’m running a 25 inch bar and it cut dry doig fir 23 inches in diameter just fine. I’ll continue to break it in and put it in some tougher wood and see how it does. Overall, it seems like a pretty sweet deal. Be aware that not all the plastic lines up great and clearly it’s not a real STIHL but it does seem to run and cut quite well. Gas cap leaks, which is lame.

Perfect saw from the start. Never had any issues. I've got around 15 tanks through it now. Starts 3rd pull everytime. There are a lot of original "orange " parts on it right out of the box. Powerful saw, customer service is very good as well.

I’ve had the saw for about 3 months and the sprocket/crank shaft broke. It was a great saw, comparable to the brand names. I would normally return a product that breaks; but there’s no returns.

So I am a professional arborist and my mechanic recommended this brand to me when my other saw needed repairs. Everyone asks if the saw cuts and yes it does just fine. But that isn't why you buy a chainsaw. You buy one that will work for a long time. This saw is a great value, but it comes with old technology and a few parts that will easily brake. If you take care of your equipment, like most homeowners do, I would recommend it. But for a professional like myself that uses it daily, it probably wont last 15 years like my last one did. I would love to write a review in a year to give an update on how it is holding up.

First of all, I am not a lumberjack. Anyway, I have had this saw since early September 2022. I am just getting the chance to start it. I contacted Neo-tec to confirm gas mix to start so I did 30:1. I will run this for a bit until I get it broken in. It was simple to start I just put on the choke pull a couple times til it tried then put it in start. It fired right up. I let it idle a while then cut a few logs. This thing is strong already! I can imagine what it will do with 50:1. This saw is a replacement for my 20 inch poulan pro av5020. I'm just putting that out there but the difference is like comparing a Buick to a Ferrari. Anyway, the build quality is great from what I can see. It also has an OEM Stihl air filter. I'll amend this if I have anything different after I cut a few trees up but I don't forsee any issues.

Very powerful saw, but leaks bar oil all over the place!

So far so good. I am impressed with my new saw. It was a bit difficult to start the first two times I used it but after that I have had no problems what so ever. I think it just needed broken in a little. It cuts through trees like a hot knife going through butter! I would definitely purchase this again. The only thing is I wish I had a case for it that said Neo Tech so I could advertise for them. I have a generic box case that I purchased months ago for my Echo and am using it. I am the only chick in town that runs a saw and it does draw a bit of attention so if it had come with a case I think it would have sold a few saws already because I have only good things to say.
