Does not fit the On Q metal cabinet circa 2016
Let's start by saying the overall result is excellent. As mentioned in my headline, I originally purchased these mounting plates to go in my existing (metal) Legrand On Q enclosure installed when the house was built in 2016. I was sadly surprised to find them 100% incompatible! (Note: I have the newest version of the plate, not the older style. Maybe the older one fits the metal cabinet, but I never bought that one). Anyway, I decided to stay with the Legrand Brand and replaced the enclosure with a 30 inch version from my local (Blue) home center. Note: The 30" enclosure does not fit Qty 3 of these 10" mounting plates. Only Qty 2 of the 10" and Qty 1 of the 5" raised plate. That actually worked out better because the raised 5" plate was able to pass cables underneath it to other components lower down in the cabinet. In hindsight I should have gotten the 42" cabinet because I realize now it would've been nice have room for future growth and to have added the Ring home alarm system module inside the cabinet with stacking it on top of the switch. But it’ll be ok there. I did manage to include a home network video recorder (NVR) for the Qty 8 POE cameras I installed a few years back. Anyway, I very please with the final result. Get yourself some Velcro straps because the red clamps have limited attachment points on the mounting plate, especially if you want to mount them at the bottom of a component. That's why mine are seen mounted on the sides. They do hold the weight of the components very well. The heaviest piece is the NVR and I imagine that's at least 3-4 pounds and held with Velcro. Excellent product overall! 5stars

Nice set
Yeah, $25 is a lot for some plastic pieces, but it is a very specific part, made to fit in the standard enclosure boxes. Unfortunately, I didn't read the sizes, and thought this was for a standard 8 port switch, it's almost double the length needed. Other than that, the height and width are perfect. The inclusion of the adjustable clips basically makes this set enough parts to install 2 pieces of hardware. I used the plate for my switch, and the clips for my Hue hub. Also has instructions for those (like me) who have never used a media enclosure before and are not sure how the pins install.

I works, bit is not cheap.
These work fine for organizing a media cabinet, but they are pricey for what you get. Moving into a new home the equipment was just shoved in the cabinet, meaning that I had to be careful opening it up to keep things from falling out. Connections also came loose easily. This set, as well as a shelf, fixed that problem. I opted not to use the included clamps and just used velcro instead. My biggest complaint is that the company makes media cabinets that are basically useless without buying add-ons. Their cabinets should at least include a bottom shelf and/or attachment points that don't require their connectors to use, or simply include some connectors with the unit.

Adds storage layers to media cabinets
I have used this to mount my bridge router in front of my switch. There’s plenty of vertical room for my 8 port switch. It might hold a 16 port switch. Keep in mind I have a flat desktop switch. Commercial grade rack mount switches would not fit. There’s two tabs included that lock into the router, holding it in place. The cable organizers are good for Ethernet and coaxial but a bit small for this power cords. The rack locks into place with ease. It’s sturdy enough. This works great by allowing two devices to occupy the same place. Plenty of holes to allow for airflow.

Fits new On-Q boxes but limited use with old On-Q boxes that have different hole shapes.
Works with current On-Q boxes but is of limited use in older models. If your box has 4 rows of identical square holes, this will work. If your box is older and has two rows that are oval and two that are diamond, only the small shelf will fit and only when oriented with the bracket below the shelf. That is the only part we used from the entire kit with our existing On-Q box installed 10 years ago. Everything else was nice, but did not fit.

Game changer
I haven't been this excited about something like this since Legos, yes this is the adult Lego set we've been waiting for. This kit allowed me to both expand the capabilities and also neatly organize my legrand on-Q box. This kit is well put together and the quality it perfect for what it is. Can hide wires behind it even, bonus. Those having trouble installing are not doing something right, it's pretty intuitive for me but even if not the included printed, color, instructions are great. Its lightweight plastic holding lightweight plasitc, dont need the force of He-Man to install. If I had any complaint its the fact it only include two red clamps and two red post hooks (four each would be ideal).

Nice additions to the box
Nice racks and tires for the Legrand box. The first one I received was returned because the door was really warped. I wrote to Legrand about it but they never answered….so it was returned for one that was in better shape. Legrand CS could tighten up their support to answer an easy question within a reasonable timeframe. They still haven’t returned my contact email and that was a month ago.

Legrand product line is a cluster f of a mess
What a waste of time and money. The AC1050 does not fit the 9" or 17" enclosures. The entire Legrand product line is a mess of products that look alike and say On-Q but do not fit all of the boxes. Basically the 20" and bigger have a completely different hole pattern. The push pins are different sizes, the red clamps interfere with the cover, etc. This is what happens when companies merge and forget to integrate. What a cluster. Once you realize this, then you'll come to find that there are zero accessories for the 9" and 17" so in theory you're going to end up with a DIY mess on your hands.
