This is the perfect size for your ChapStick, lipstick, or eyeliner. It organizes and makes everything look so much better, yes it's a simple piece of plastic with holes in it but yes it will really help that much.

I’m using it to hold my tube paints. Works great! I like that it is a little smaller in footprint and openings than the second one I bought. The tube paints fit better and it takes up less room
