USB-C 6-in-1 Multiport

I just plugged this docking station into my Mac and can now add portable hard drives for more storage I now also have a memory card and usb pen drive reader too.

Bought this for a Macbook 2019 which lacks UASB Type A ports and Ethernet. Works very well and the cable length is adequate, however for desktop use you may prefer a longer cable length. Works well with both Windows and MacOS.

Really solid performing multiport hub from Belkin this. I have not mounted this yet but have tested each port and everything is working as it should. I think this is going to be a replacement for my current gigabit ethernet adapter that is working it's heart out behind the TV. Love the idea of being able to easily mount this to the back of my TV using the command strips, easy to stick on and easy to remove if required. Will add some more well needed functionality to the TV also. I have also found that hubs like this one tend to get quite hot to the touch, this Belkin hub does get warm but no where near as hot as some other brands. My only issue with this product is the primary connector is USB-C, not that this is a direct problem but if an adapter was supplied in box to convert the USB-C to a USB-A this would have solved my only connection quandary to my TV. Another mention is just an aesthetic niggle...would be great if a black alternative was available as well as the white to help it blend in better with my TV but white is fine as this is so easily hidden from sight. So to wrap up...A quality hub with all the bells and whistles made by a trusted brand, what more do I need from this.

Perfect iMac docking station to add back some of the ports that see to have been taken away by the manufacturers over the last few years, Belkin stuff has always been high quality (although expensive) and it does it’s job really well, with everything working as it should and the build quality good it’s a fantastic piece of kit and perfect for any modern iMac user.

Looks clean and clear, stylish cyber feel. The build is solid and high quality. Although it is mentioned for iMac but it actually supports all USB-C devices. There are 6 outlets containing 2x USB-A ports, 1x USB-C port, SD 3.0, microSD card reader, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. This is pretty much what I need. I like the Gigabit ethernet port as I sometimes need to send large files and transmit through an ethernet cable much faster than using wifi connection. Other ports works fine. I think this is another good Belkin product added to my collection.

Usual Belkin standard and a compact hub that can be rear mounted on the back of your screen / monitor or used free standing. Transfer speeds are the same as when I have drives, SD / MicroSD card or my phone plugged directly into my PC's ports / card reader. There's also an Ethernet port. Tape is included to attach the base plate of the hub to your device and once in place, the hub can unclipped from it. There are Chinese vendors pushing hubs out for 20 quid, but if you have decent equipment, it’s worth spending that bit extra for guaranteed quality.
