I recently swapped out an older bullet camera from my Lorex system for this Lorex 4K IP Metal Dome Camera, and it has been a fantastic decision. The first thing you notice is how much more rugged and durable the all-metal housing feels compared to traditional plastic-cased cameras. Being a dome style, it is far more discreet on the eaves of the house and much harder for someone to tamper with or knock out of alignment. The 4K resolution is incredibly sharp, providing clear details that make a huge difference if you ever need to zoom in on footage. I am also really impressed with the Smart Motion Detection; it is much better at filtering out false alarms from wind or animals and only alerts me when it actually spots a person or vehicle. The Color Night Vision is another standout feature, giving me a much clearer picture of the yard after dark than the standard black-and-white graininess I was used to. Having 2-Way Talk and IP67 waterproof protection makes this a perfect all-weather solution. It integrated perfectly with my existing NVR, and the setup was seamless. If you are looking to upgrade your current Lorex system, these dome cameras are a professional-grade step up that provides much better peace of mind.

Worked out of the box as intended. Matches my other cameras just minus the varifocal and included light/siren..Haven't figured out that setting in the NVR yet but I'm sure it's there.

Bought these specifically because the Product Description states VERBATIM; "Wireless Communication Technology Wi-Fi" when indeed these are REQUIRED to be connected physically TO your OWN "wifi" equipment with a CAT5 cable. THAT IS NOT WIFI COMMUNICATION! While the LOREX DVR system that I currently own (N864) DOES have WiFi camera capability that DOES connect directly TO the WiFi cameras what were INCLUDED WITH THE LOREX DVR SYSTEM!!! The INCORRECT Product Specifications completely WASTED MY TIME AND ALSO AMAZON'S TIME. What the heck??? Did AI write the BOGUS description??? These may be the greatest cameras of all time, but to me are COMPLETELY WORTHLESS.

Excellent System. Easy to set up. Set it up and forget it. Very sensitive and picks up all motion with excellent clarity. I would strongly recommend this. I recommend purchasing the S380 Homebase as well.

Lorex is a premium CCTV product. I’ve had these IP cameras installed for more than 6 years with solid performance. Purchased this to expand current system

Good product. But watch the connections for water. Water shield protection from the manufacture is Not waterproof. That is why I had to replace three cameras

Waaaay to sensitive even after its put on lowest sensitivity alert.

Like the Lorex cameras. Good durability at -40. Too bad the APP lacks many features others have. Lorex seems to aim for Windows software features instead of APP improvements such as area searches and showing where in the picture the system senses motion when none appears to be present.
