Premium Quality Door Flush Bolt with Strike and Screws (Chrome)

I've looked everywhere for this hidden inset door mortise lock. It was about a half inch longer than the 25 year old lock in the door. Almost fit….. Rather than alter the door mortise,, I used my shop grinder to shave about a 1/4" from the hidden metal on the top of the lock. Fit's perfectly and the top screw is in a new hole rather than the old one. In most cases,, this is would have been an exact replacement. Color is different but it's on the bottom and a little paint can hid it from you perfectionist… Took five minutes. ed c.

It fit an old door!!!

I needed to replace the original bolts on my French doors, I bought a set prior that I purchased at a hardware store that did not hold doors tight, they were not the correct size (too short) but was all I could find at the time that I got them. These were just like the original bolts and worked well, I would recommend and buy again

Took only a few moments to install to replace a missing latch on the french doors of our newly purchased home. Immediately noticed the door felt more more secure.

I had french doors from Lowes put in a decade ago. The bottom locking bolt broke and this one fit 99% perfectly in its place. I can now lock and unlock both my doors again. :-)

It works just like I wanted. Wish it was a little sturdier. But it looks like it is supposed to be inset, so the face would mount flush with the surface, and that would make it stronger. I need it to be (top) surface mounted, so I hope it holds up. The only thing that took it from 5 stars to 4 was the quality of the screws. I am mounting it to a steel door, and not a wooden one, so I think the screws are for wood, so they strip out easily. I just bought some sheet metal screws, and all is good.

We looked local and could not find these latches anywhere so I went on Amazon ordered them on a Wednesday had them by Friday and they were almost a direct fit. Great quality at a low price.
