I regret purchasing the FOTILE EMS 9026. For a premium-priced range hood, our experience with the product, replacement process, and service has been extremely frustrating.The problems started immediately. The first unit arrived damaged right out of the box.The replacement unit initially worked, but stopped working after only about one month. We contacted FOTILE and requested a replacement, but the company refused and insisted on repairing the unit.A technician came to our home twice, but was unable to fix the problem. It took more than a month of dealing with this issue before FOTILE finally agreed to provide a replacement.The installation/service experience of the third unit was also very disappointing. After the third unit was installed, there was a very strange and loud noise. It turned out that the noise was caused by the duct not being properly secured by the technician. This should have been a basic part of a professional installation.Overall, our experience has been:* ❌ First unit: damaged out of the box* ❌ Second unit: stopped working after only one month* ❌ Two technician visits failed to resolve the problem* ❌ More than a month before a replacement was finally approved* ❌ Third installation: duct was not properly secured, causing significant noise* ❌ Unprofessional installation/service experienceFor a product at this price point, I expected much better quality control, customer service, and installation support.What is particularly frustrating is that when the second unit failed after only one month, FOTILE would not simply replace it. Instead, we had to go through repeated repair attempts that did not solve the problem, followed by a lengthy wait for a replacement.The third unit is working so far, but the overall experience has been far more difficult than it should have been. A premium appliance should not require months of dealing with defective equipment and unsuccessful service visits.Based on our experience, I would not purchase FOTILE again. If you’re considering the EMS 9026, I would seriously consider other brands before spending this much money.Very disappointing experience. 1 star.

Purchased one of the highest priced range hood but does not work.1. Customer service came and identified the issues as my range standard 6 burners range (36x24= 6ft²) is too deep, although the description clearly claimed to "covers 7.2ft ² of Cooking Area (5-6 Burners)".2. This hood does not need air flow to ventilate smoke, therefore cannot even move a tissue right below the passageway.3. Grease flows everywhere in the kitchen. Thanks to the "92.5% oil filtration rate + 97% odor elimination rate"
