I installed this in my big block ’72 Camaro Z28 RS. FYI, in the 1970s, Chevrolet’s main V8 and inline 6 engines used a 1/2"-20 SAE (UNF) thread size for their factory oil pan drain plugs, and this also fit my aftermarket oil pan perfectly.With the original drain plug, I had to use a new copper crush washer every time I changed the oil, and even then I would sometimes get a little seepage. Because of that, after installing the ValvoMax I checked and rechecked it several times looking for any sign of oil around it. So far, absolutely no leaks or seepage.That alone makes me happy with it. It’s also a relief knowing that the drain itself will stay installed and won’t need to be unfastened every time I change the oil. No more replacing copper crush washers and no more repeatedly removing and tightening a plug into the threads of the oil pan.I haven't actually changed the oil using it yet, so I can't comment on that part from experience. But as far as installation, fit and sealing, I'm very happy with it so far.

I like that this product has a smaller profile then most of its competitors and the shape doesn't hinder the installation. It's easy to install with a 24mm wrench, just remember to remove the cap from the drain valve when installing and putting it back on when finished. The plastic rubbery part that holds the cap is easy to remove from the drain valve and just as easy to put back on. Jeeps are higher than most cars but also thought of the clearance for rocks when off roading. The pictures on the Amazon website don't show it but it comes with a washer with rubber in the inside diameter and it comes with the hose attachment.

Installed easy. Makes changing oil a 5 minute no mess operation. I bought one for every vehicle. I'll never go without it again! I was concerned about it on my k1500 getting roughed up offroad but I've had 0 problems!
