You CAN sharpen folding and small paring knives 🥲
For small knives and low sharpening angles, use the jig cavity that’s closest to the blade. It gives much better control and lets you reach shallow angles without having to raise the support rod excessively. It’s definitely pricey, but I couldn’t find any cheaper alternatives that give the same clean, even-looking edge and bevel. Worth it if you just want good, consistent results without fuss.

Wish it was just a bit larger, but it works perfectly- holds the knife securely, and I get precise angles when sharpening- Well made- spring closure keeps jaws open until clamping down the back screw- which is nice-

What I really like is the way the jig centers the blade, it makes it much easier to get a centered grind on my blades. I also like the way the handle is reconfigured.

Il fait parfaitement le job : il tient bien les couteaux courts. Par contre la petite poignée noire du haut vous pouvez la remplacer en regardant des vidéos de i-sharpen, car il imprime une toute petite poignée 3D qui peut remplacer celle du haut, je l'ai et j'en suis très content. Je vous conseille donc d'acheter les deux (sachant que la petite poignée 3D vient d'Australie donc vous allez payer de frais de douane il faut être préparé psychologiquement à payer quelque chose comme 60 €... ) !

Die perfekte Messer Halterung zum Messer schleifen. Ich habe mir ein billig Set für alles andere gekauft aber für Messer muss es dieser sein Haptik Fixierung da passt einfach alles
