Heavy duty, 2 piece, crusher that is easy to assemble, use & clean. I'm VERY glad I picked this up for my kitchen. I should have gotten this a decade ago! This one gives me slightly bigger chunks than the teeny tiny ones sold at the local stores with the wimpy handles that look like I'd break them in a week.

I fell in love with this garlic press. I thought it was a bit pricey but when I received it, and used it, I Loved this garlic press, It is worth the price, because for me, it is comfortable in hands, well made, strong, pretty, & does the job for me, plus easy to clean. I use the press at least 5 times a week because I cook fresh food, and seasoned food, so I needed something that will last. This was my first time with this purchase, and I am very satisfied. I have had it for many months, & it is like brand new, BUT IF YOU HAVE ARTHRITIC HANDS, OR A WEAK GRASP, it may be hard to press. I believe that I Will recommend this item.

big, heavy, shiny. I say go for it for an easy to clean press. But what I really wanted was a replacement for a 60's press made from aluminum/magnesium unit weighting less than an ounce. So, beautiful, but much more than I wanted. The big pro for this unit is the lack of a hinge making it easy to clean.

Yes! This 'Garlic Press' truly deserves to be defined as 'Oustanding!' It is a well thought-out and well-made piece capable to do a good job providing an excellent service for a long time. Most likely, this 'Garlic Press' is the last press that you will buy. * Two Conditions To Not Ignore * 1.- The 'No Peeling Required' feature is true; but if you are going to press garlic cloves in two or three sessions, my experience indicates that it is better to peel the cloves in advance. 2.- This 'Garlic Press' does an outstanding job AS LONG AS the user has strong hands and a good set of muscles attached to the hands. It is specially so to squeeze more than one or two garlic cloves through the press. Should you take 1 and 2 into consideration, then, I serious doubt that you make a mistake ordering this 'No Peeling Required Garlic Press.'

I love this garlic press. The ergonomics are amazing and the 2 piece design is really convenient and easy to clean. High quality stainless steel handles allow for a good fit in your hand and little need for hand pressure unlike conventional presses

This is a sturdy very well-made item that does work. However, if a garlic clove is crushed unpeeled, it takes a fair effort to get the remaining peel (skin) completely cleaned out of this gadget. In fact, it would be advised to have a pick handy to assure that all remnant pieces of the garlic skin are clean out, and don't end up being pressed through the device on subsequent clove pressings. Yes, the peel-contamination-concern and "fiddling time" are reduced significantly if you first peel all of your cloves. But if this is done there really is no (or very little) time savings over just using your chef's knife to complete the chopping or mincing. The press does squeeze most of the oil out of the cloves, so when used it is suggested to squeeze the pulp into a cup or directly into your prep bowl or cooking item you may be using. Also, keep your pick handy for when you take the press out of your dishwasher. My Kitchenaid washer usually gets most of the dried garlic pulp out of the press's apertures, but not all of it -- so a final cleanup with a pick is needed. Even though this review leans negative I don't regret buying this gadget -- on occasion, for a single clove pressing, it may prove handy.

Stainless steel not aluminum cleans easily works well only 2 parts

I have weak hands, so I chose the larger holes. It’s great to use.

Nunca tuve un machacador de ajos, porque no era de los que cocinaba mucho siempre iba a platos preparados. Pero ahora que cocino mas el tema de los ajos me fastidiaba cuando tenia que trabajar con ellos porque te huelen mucho las manos. Asi que finalmente lo cogi y aunque mas caro decidí coger este porque el diseño, y la forma desmontable me parecían muy versátiles comparados con otros modelos. Y efectivamente, es como sale en los videos, funciona muy bien y luego la limpieza es muy sencilla, además no tiene que tocar los ajos con las manos porque lo puedes hacer con sus mangos desmontables. El producto es de calidad en acero inoxidable. Vamos que es de por vida porque su diseño asi lo dice. Muy satisfecho con la compra.
