I put mine in a bra with the pocket for it, but it rides up.  How can I keep it down where it belongs?

Some bras have an upper flap as part of the pocket. If yours does, make sure breast form is also tucked into it. If yours does not have the upper flap, try tightening the bra straps a little to hold the form more tightly.

I personally do NOT recommend the cotton breast forms. They are too light weight and won't stay down. Go to a professional and be fitted for a weighted prosthetic and mastectomy bras. I have Amoena prosthetic breast forms and mastectomy bras to go with them.

If you have health insurance, the insurance company is required by law to pay for mastectomy supplies, including breast prosthetics and mastectomy bras. You can google to find a professional breast prosthetics supplier who will do a custom fitting with what you need. Besides a prosthetic for the mastectomy side, you can get a shaper for the other side.

If you don't have health insurance and can't afford the professional prosthesis, you might be able to make the cotton breast forms work, with the right bra. Walmart sells an inexpensive knit sports bra with a zipper in the front. Go one size smaller than you would normally wear. You need it tight in order to keep the breast form in place. But even that isn't a guarantee. The cotton breast forms are too light.
