I’m late 20s and my beard just went noticeably grey. I used colouring sprays, mascara etc all of which was high maintenance and looked unnatural. A friend of mine recommended this shampoo, so I decided to get it. It will not work instantly! You have to apply it consistently every day in the shower. By day 5-6 my gray's were darker. For me, after I finish washing my hair and body I apply this product outside the shower head rubbing it in with the palm of my hand, I wash my hands and then use the head of shower to wash the shower tray (it will stain if you don’t wash it instantly) - by the time that’s finished it’s been 2-3 minutes so I wash it off.

It kind of works but when you wash it off in the shower it runs off clear but then after a few hours it develops into black and has permanently marked the tile grout and shower tray. It also develops under finger nails turning them black too. It advises to apply with palms but really you need gloves. A huge amount of hassle for marginal results and now i have damage to my property. Avoid

It’s quite pricey (but so is everything) and it smells awful. I have had this before and not much has changed. I’ve already crucified a cream carpet and a couple of towels but hey ho lessons and all that jazz. Huge huge lesson to learn, do not, I repeat do not go to the gym and think it’s a good idea to kill two birds with one stone. I went in the sauna, and after proceeded to the shower, thought it was a great idea to apply, the second it went on my hands, wow, instantly stained and I couldn’t wash it off. Now I wet my hands and face ever so slightly to prevent this. Bad bits over, this product is subtle, and kinda blends well, it will darken your stubble without making it look like you have just returned from Turkey. It does it gradually so nobody even notices, not even the wife, well that was until the towels crossed her path. Anyhow it does work. I don’t think I’d say it brown as such, as the carpet and towels, oh and tiles look black. I use it daily because it doesn’t look brown to be honest, it looks more natural darkening the most obvious white hairs. Trust me the wife would soon tell me how stupid I looked. I mean I borrow her false tan once and it still gets brought up 10 years later. Anyhow hope this helps.

I had being using just for men beard dye. Medium brown would have been the closest to my original beard colour. The product worked o.k. but the finish result was not always what you might be happy with. Mostly was down to my own fault for leaving the product on too long before washing out. It needed to be mixed and sometimes difficult to remove stains if it got on hands of face. So i seen this new formula Control GX beard wash, and I was impressed to see that it was all contained in 1 tube. I found the product very easy to use, and it had no reaction to my skin, I have to say that after 4 washes I'm really impressed with how this product has worked. I had been leaving it in that bit longer with each wash, so that by the 4th wash it was looking exactly how I wanted it. In fact it almost matched the colour of my original beard. It looks so natural, and leaves your beard feeling soft, fresh and fuller looking. It's an amazing product. What took you so long to develop this? I give it 10 stars.

Arrived on time but have been using it for awhile. Unfortunately not great. I left it in my beard for the recommend time their was no change in the colour of my beard.the next time I left it in longer and used more. The colour changed abit. I am guessing that it would work better if your beard is still darker

I'm amazingly surprised by the negative reviews and ratings for this product. My beard had gone maybe 60% grey. After one-or-two days of using this I just thought, oh well another product that doesn't work but of course persisted. After one week I was saying to my wife "you know, I think my beard is getting darker". After 10 days it had almost fully taken. After 6 weeks (and about to order my second bottle) my beard is noticeable darker. There are a couple of patches on the side that haven't taken. I wonder whether this is because they were too grey / white, thiner or maybe shorter hair? Either way, the effect looks incredibly natural because there are different shades of black, grey (and still a bit of white) which for me is far more effective to look a bit younger. Also, I've read that this is a messy product. I've been doing it while in the shower so not messy at all. You also don't have to use everyday by the way, once you've reached the desired effect. I maybe go with four days per week now.

It delivers what it promises - also doesn’t give you bad allergies. It doesn’t wash it off easily as well

This product far exceeded my expectations. It’s so good that I usually buy a few tubes because I don’t know what I’d do if they stopped selling as they do not sell in the local shops or if they do the shops are not close to me. My advice is to follow the instructions to ensure a natural change and stop once you get the desired effect. Never leave in more than 3.5 to 4 minutes. I’ve been able keep it off the very to back of my head close to the neckline which leaves a nice grey effect. I’m sixty two and not many if any man this age has zero grey hairs. It’s so good that the person who cuts my hair didn’t know until I spilled the beans. It’s been recommended to their other male clients as they can’t do the job this product does without colouring all the hair which looks unnatural on men older than 50. A pro tip I’d like to offer is to use latex gloves and use in the sink that can be immediately cleaned up vs in the shower. A dark towel for initial drying of your hair is also a must. You will stain white or light colored towels if you use just after application.

Basta avere un pò di pazienza e dopo 4/5 applicazioni la barba da bianca prende una sfumatura di grigio scuro molto bella e oltretutto sembra più curata. Volevo un prodotto con rendesse un pò di colore + naturale alla barba e questo è perfetto. La sto usando da quasi 1 mese facendo un trattamento da 5 applicazioni ogni 2 settimane e ancora non ho finito il prodotto, quindi anche a livello di utilizzo/prezzo ci siamo.
