For the price, these are amazing. I've replaced most of our exterior security lights with these, replacing 100w sodium vapor fixtures. The lens on the LED fixture throws most of the light downward in an inverted V shape, but still disperses the light in a wide arc by the time it hits the ground (these are mounted about 20 feet up). My only complaint is that when you're 20 feet up on a lift, trying to put in place the very small screws for the lens and deflector, can be a real issue. A magnetic screwdriver would be a plus. I've had a few of these going (some on timers, some on the photocell) for over a month now with no problems, even after heavy rain storms. The center hole punch-outs for the electrical connections came out without issue. However, some of the mounting screw punch-outs wouldn't come out, so I ended up just drilling new mounting holes. If these fixtures really make it to 10 years... what a bargain. If you want to bypass the photocell, simply unscrew the screw on the top center of the fixture and pull the attached wire off, then screw it back in. Many of our security lights are on separate timers, so I disconnected the photocell on those. All of the fixtures, whether using the photocell or not, work great.

I bought it for the outside of my large backyard garage. It highlights my backyard at night well which is very comparable when you have to used several common ones for the same bright effect.. I think it contains several pros: 1. it is long life span lasting; 2. no doubts of energy saving; 3. very important waterproof! This is a key point since I live in a rainy city. The packing is very good----robust. When I received it, every part of the light was maintained well and I was also impressed by the good quality of every part of it: the bulb , the foam board, the connectors and wires. And it is easy installed following the easy reading instructions. So far it works very well and I really like it. I'll update the review maybe months later to let others know how it works.

Have bought over 21 of these lights. Have installed 3 on 5 different buildings. Work great. Bright clear light. Cheaper than wall packs and better lighting. Easy to install. Great value.

We purchased this because of all the excellent reviews. My husband set out to mount it on the outside of our garage, and stormed into the house after almost 1.5 hours of getting nowhere. He brought me out to see if I could have any luck interpreting the directions and I also failed to make sense of them. We were honestly wondering if the wrong directions were included with our light. We ended up not being able to use it at all because we could not mount it in any way. The light we received had a solid steel back. The directions told us that we were supposed to pop out holes in the backing which was completely impossible! Because of that, there was no way for us to hang the light on the wall. We would have returned, but we held on to it for too long before we attempted the installation. By the time we realized we could not use it, we were already outside of the return window.

I ordered this light because it looked like good quality, price was OK, ant it offered a ten year warranty. The light arrived late February but I did not get around to installing it until June 2 because I had to get up on a pretty tall ladder to install. The quality, fit , and finish seemed good although the mounting was a bit different than most light fixtures sold in US so I had to spend a bit more time installing it than I planned or hoped for. It seemed bright but would not turn off even in bright sunlight, suggesting a bad photocell. The paperwork with the light had no contact telephone or website for Kadision. I googled and could find nothing except that the products were sold on Amazon. The storefront on Amazon for the company listed a lot of products but no contact information. I found a YouTube video on the products, they look good, but once again no indication in the video how to contact them. I finally contacted Amazon Customer support, they could not offer a website for the company, but did have a telephone number for them, it was an international call from US. The Amazon rep was kind enough to call the number several times, but he tiold me every time he would say hello, they would say hello and then the call disconnected. Amazon agreed to issue a refund for the purchase price. Too bad that they have no customer support because the product seemed like it was well made After I posted my initial review with a 1 star rating, the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement photocell. He then offered to send a replacement fixture for my trouble. I received the photocell in about 3 days as promised, climbed the ladder and installed it, and “presto” the light shut off in daylight as it should. I assumed all was well, but when I checked the light at night, it was short cycling, turning on and off continuously, and was destined to do so all night long from reflected light. Many fixtures have built in timers tied to the photocell to stop this. I contacted the seller, he responded quickly and told me to cover a portion of the photocell with electrical tape. This worked and stopped the short cycling, but I plan on using a more permanent solution than electrical tape. Some lights furnish small gray covers that attach over the photocell to cut down on reflected light that causes short cycling. In the end, the seller communicated quickly and clearly once we were in mutual contact, he quickly sent me the photocell and additional fixture as promised; and I still believe the overall quality of the fixture seems good. I’m did recommend to him and continue to believe he could earn five stars if he had a company website, toll free telephone #, and a company contact email outside of Amazon. The product quality seems good and the seller seems to be willing to stand behind the sale and the product.

I installed 3 of these lights on my rear deck. I love them brightened the back yard very well. I haven't tried the dusk to dawn I shut mine off at the switch. I have two small dogs and I wanted to lighten the back yard because of coyotes in our neighborhood. I would definitely buy these lights again. They are constructed very well.

Purchased 30 for Entrance/Exit Wall lights for a housing urbanization. Look well made and very good quality. Have not yet installed so will update review once operational. Now installed, added photo. Very happy, great value, would highly recommend.

No more Home Depot lights for me. I love this light for my back yard. Pretty bright and inexpensive. The only problem is I had a hard time installing it as the holes would not line up with my fixture. I ended up punching a hole myself which caused it to crack. I was a bit frustrated with the installation but pleased with the light itself.
