Only for LARGE spaces
We had a room that was in between Owl's recommended specs from just an Owl to one with an additional mic. The extra mic actually made our situation worse. First, the acoustics are different with the extra mic, so the sound was worse. Second, the Owl doesn't use the sound from the extra mic when focusing video, so if your person is near the extra mic, the Owl likely won't pick up on them so they don't show on video. We had the Owl and the mic six feet apart. Again, we had a special case where our table and room were between Owl's specs.
