2mm aluminium cut lovely and no distortion.

Broke in 65mm of .8mm steel sheet.
Doesn't slide forward without encouraging it then the cutting rip snapped off 65mm in. I've been using a cheap silverine one for years but the serrated grip finally wore down. Thought I'd treat myself to a decent one but sadly lasted only minutes.

Petit incident , le couteau central a casse apres avoir grignote un peu plus de 1m de tole fine ( 0,6 mm ) d'acier doux . Le couteau a casse net me laissant l'impression d'un probleme de trempe ( ca peut arriver ) . Mais quand elle marche cette grignoteuse permet de couper precisement avec un tres bon controle . Bon c'est lent vu que c'est manuel , mais pour etre precis c'est un plus dans mon cas . J'ai direcement contacte Edma sur leur site pour le couteau casse . La grignoteuse est francaise et c'est un enorme plus a mes yeux . Et j'ai eu affaire a des gens polis , serieux , arrangeant et honnete . Le probleme est en train de se resoudre et sans heurts . Un incident ca arrive , mais si les gens derrieres sont honnetes et surtout qu'ils sont respectueux de leur produit et du client , ca fait un difference . Je recommande et cocorico pour les outils francais !!!

I really like this tool. It works very good. The one issue I have with this tool is the plastic handle. It is not very ergonomic and the plastic is sharp on some points. When I first used the tool I did not wear gloves and I tore up my hands. Other then that this tool is great.

Man kann relativ präzise an einer Linie entlang schneiden. Die Peilung ist wichtig. Wenn man nur leicht arbeitet, wird ein Span ausgeschnitten, der sich dreht (aufwickelt). Bei vollem Durchdrücken bricht der Span. Einfach üben. Die Schnittkanten sind scharfkantig mit einem kleinen Grat. 0,4mm MS63 halbhart geht leicht zu schneiden. Dickeres Material habe ich nicht versucht. Das Blech, das übrig bleibt ist gerade und nicht verformt.
